We found a jewel in the countryside, great location to stay lovely village pub opposite church. Leo and Izzy made us most welcome Accommodation was very nice with all amenities clean and comfortable. Good evening meal and breakfast was excellent prepared freshly by the host . With the church bells ringing in the background nicely

Great fish & chips at a reasonable cost. Wide food and drink menu, served with a smile and friendly chat. A variety of special meals, quiz night on Sundays, function rooms, TV in bar. Landlord and lady open to ideas from customers. Worth a visit.

The hardworking hosts were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast and evening meals were home cooked with local products and delicious. The rooms were compact on ground level opening to the car park. They were clean and comfy with an en suite and good hot shower. An excellent stopover.

We booked The Bull Inn for 1 night for a friend’s wedding nearby and it was a pleasant surprise. We had a double room and a single occupancy room next door for a friend. The owner is very welcoming and explained that Taxis can be difficult in this area but arranged us a lift to and from the venue. One of us decided to be the designated driver but appreciated the offer of a lift. The room is comfortable and allows dogs! The area is beautiful and quiet, we slept very well. The full English was very good too and the check out time is generous. If we’re in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book The Bull Inn again - wish we were staying for the pub quiz! Thank you!

Such a gorgeous little pub. Value for money accommodation. Clean, basic, quiet and relaxing. We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. It is the owners/managers that are so welcoming you feel instantly at home that complete the experience. I absolutely loved that they have their fire place going, not many do! Would stay here again.

Under new management, and literally Leo and Dana were THE best hosts of anywhere we have ever stayed.Were their for our son's wedding, and needed a pet friendly hotel.One of our party stayed to dog sit, and Leo organised food and a room upgrade at last minute.Nothing was too much trouble .Room clean and comfy.Perfect, breakfast was beautiful- and my daughter said her pie and chips was second to none.Leo and Dana have set the bar high in this hidden gem..thank you .Will be our go to if ever back in the area.Love and thanks.
