巴姆布達旅舍(Bambuda Lodge)

Ein wundervoller Ort, an dem man sich sehr wohlfühlt bei Marcus und seinem Team! Spektakulär das Dschungelzimmer, von Terrasse und Bad blickt man direkt in den Dschungel. Nachts hört man den einzigartigen Sound des Dschungels. Kolibris und Faultiere haben wir auch gesichtet ♥️ Lage auch spektakulär, beim Essen sieht man direkt aufs Wasser, toller Pool! Essen ist grandios, täglich wechselnde Gerichte, liebevoll und raffiniert zubereitet - ein Genuss! Am Geburtstag meines Freundes gab es sogar ein Dessert und eine Flasche Wein aufs Haus! Gefallen · Gut, weibliches Personal ist sehr freundlich, die männlichen Kollegen leider nicht so. Sehr schöne Anlage. Gute Aktivitäten die geplant waren, Yoga war ganz okay, nicht speziell aber gut. Das Essen war gut, einmalig kam es vor, dass uns fast rohes Gemüse, ungesalzenes & ohne Öl oder ähnlichem als Beilage aufgetischt wurde. Drinks sind sehr gut. Leider wird die Bambuda Lodge als Eco-friendly angepriesen, jegliche Getränke werden aber in Plastik Gläsern serviert. Die Drinks muss man oben an der Bar bestellen, kein gewöhnlicher Restaurant-Service. Wir hatten eine schlaflose Nacht, da unsere Nachbarn sehr laut waren und die Zimmer sehr ringhörig sind. Hotel súper bonito!!! Ideal para descansar y relajarase. La Habitación la cueva es preciosa con unas vistas inmejorables. El personal lo mejor de todo!!! Nos han tratado muy bien. Muy agradables y atentos. Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.

J'ai utilisé l'adjectif "extraordinaire" plusieurs fois lors de mon séjour pour qualifier le Bambuda Lodge, et plusieurs points le justifient : accès à l'hôtel possible seulement en "lancha" (petit bateau à moteur) ; nature luxuriante dans et autour de la propriété (l'hostel est situé entre la mer et la jungle tropicale), ceci attirant de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux (colibris, perruches, oropendulas,...) ; superbe piscine avec vue sur la mer des Caraïbes ; constructions privilégiant le bois; chambres confortables à des prix raisonnables (mais le rapport qualité-prix des dortoirs est encore meilleur, et ce d'autant plus si vous avez la chance, comme moi, d'en disposer pour vous tout(e) seul(e) ) ; nourriture de qualité servie chaque jour ; service attentionné, avec une mention spéciale pour Daniel, qui a été impeccable et très gentil avec moi. Quelques points à soulever tout de même : lorsque vous logez au Bambuda, il vous faut prendre une "lancha" pour quelque déplacement que ce soit, hormis la marche allant jusqu'à l'Hospital Point (nord de l'île de Solarte) ; ce premier point induit que vous allez très souvent déjeuner et dîner sur place, ce qui fait considérablement augmenter la note finale. Petite déception pour ma part : malgré mon séjour de 9 nuits, on m'a fait payer 20 USD pour une moustiquaire que j'ai été obligé de déchirer à la fenêtre de ma chambre en pleine nuit (auto-enfermement dehors par inadvertance et personne à la réception à cette heure-là). Dommage...

Superbe hôtel niché entre la jungle et la mer. Ici le personnel est au petit soin en vous appelant notamment par votre prénom ! Quel belle accueil au Bambuda lodge !!! Cote restaurant la nourriture est un petit peu cher mais vraiment succulente. Et juste a côté vous retrouverez de beaux endroits pour la pratique du snorkelling.

Dreadful dreadful rooms, dorms for sure, not sure about privates, no air con and you will get destroyed by insects. I had to leave after two awful nights, covered in bites from flies and no sleep. The location is absolutely lovely though, but forget snorkelling, the water is murky. The food is really good, I had divine Alfredo pasta, but its all very expensive and on top of cost of room, food and drinks cost me $200 for 2 nights, one person.

During my trip I tried out 3 different Bambuda hostels (in dormitories each time). I waited until I'd done all 3 before writing this review. Here is my personal experience : Out of the 3 Bambuda I think they had the most amazing staff. Everyone was kind, smiling, friendly and very helpful. For some examples, they use WhatsApp to communicate and on the way to the hotel my water cab broke down. I told them just to let them know I'd be arriving later and they offered to call for assistance. Another example, I dropped my AirPods case (i m a mess) and lost one of them. Half the staff helped me look everywhere for it. For backpackers on a budget, you need to know that there's no kitchen and as there's nothing on Solarte Island you'll be totally dependent on the hostel restaurant. There is a filtered water fountain, but I haven't tried it myself. As far as the food is concerned, everything I ate was really very good, they have a wide choice of western and more local dishes, and concerning prices nothing shocked me compared with other restaurants across the islands. Good to know too - for dinner they have a "family dinner" concept which means you have to order your meal before 5.45pm. After this time, you won't be able to order any food whatsoever. So if you're planning to arrive at the hostel after that time, be sure to have dinner beforehand! The place and the location itself are amazing but I was a little unlucky on the room. I was in a 6-bed dorm room with a bathroom, and it wasn't very clean (not bad considering there were already 4 other people in the room) but there was a terrible smell of urine throughout the room (not even in the bathroom itself). Also be aware that it’s kind of a party place so if you are in the dorms it will get noisy (unless you are partying too 😉) As the place is more or less off the grid, there's no hot water or aircon (but you can ask for as many fans as you like!). as you can imagine, since you're on an island where there's nothing, you'll have to pay for water cabs every time you want to go somewhere and then come back, which can get expensive! My advice, choose this hostel if you want to chill and relax in a beautiful place rather than to visit, there’s a time for everything!
