I arrived at the Courtyard on Tuesday, September 19th for my stay. After I checked in, I proceeded to my room and I noticed the room was a double queen bed, which I didn't select when I paid for the room. I chose the king bed because I didn't need two beds. I told the front desk clerk a male with dark hair and glasses, that this was different from the room I paid for, and I showed him the room details on the ********** app. I asked what happened and he left the desk and proceeded to talk to the manager in the back office (I never actually saw the manager, but that is what he told me) and when he returned he stated, "The manager said we overbooked the rooms, which is why you were given a double queen room." I asked him how would I be compensated for the room change and he told me to reach out to ********** and have them contact the Courtyard. Well, I headed back to the room and called **********, where I informed them of the situation and ********** called the Courtyard, and after speaking with them the Courtyard manager told ********** the double queen room and king room were the same prices, and that I wouldn't receive a price difference. I then told ********** that the prices were different, which is why I decided to pay more for the king room because I didn't need a double queen room. ********** stated this is what Courtyard said and that there was nothing they could do. I was upset because why would the manager lie about the price differences? Shame on them

The hotel, including parking lot and grounds, were very well maintained and clean, the room was clean and visually pleasing. The staff were all very friendly. However, the hotel is near a railroad, and with trains, sirens.the trash truck coming in the wee hours of the morning, and being able to hear the man above me peeing at 3 AM, I got little sleep.

They charge $10 for parking ... just another way for them to charge you additional! No cable TV on the night I stayed. They were having 'issues' and said 'they are actively working on it.' It never came back on.. After working 12 hours away from home, TV is your life Lobby is nice looking I do not think I will come back

I didn't make there due to severe weather. I had to stay in another Marriott. I called Marriott Bloomington the front desk they said I had to contact **********, ********** only gave me the Hotel front desk's phone number as an option. So I got caught in a loop with no resolution. I lost my money which next time, I'll make reservation directly with the hotel. I give one star review to hotel's.com for a bad customer service.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Surely recommedable. Just that at prevailing tariff, housekeeping should be done on a daily basis. Another member is required in the breakfast area to cater during rush hours.

Soon after I checked in a couple angrily checked out because they had bed bugs in their room. The hotel refunded them. I obviously did not want to stay in a hotel which admits they have bed bugs. I checked out immediately, got myself a different hotel, the person at the desk said they would refund me but the manager later refused a refund. The hotel admitted they have bed bugs, yet they refused a refund (after first telling me that I would get a refund) DO NOT STAY there, unless you don't mind bed bugs

We visit family regularly in Bloomington and we usually stay at the Hilton, however this time we ventured out and so happy we did! The hotel is very nice and modern feeling. There is free parking unlike the Hilton. There is an actual Bistro in the lobby with Starbuck's coffee. There is a mini market which we used for a late night snack. It is close to everything, walking is easy and very close to the B-line trail. All in all, it was a greater deal and very nice. We will check on this hotel for our next trip.

Room is spacious. Loved the wellness aspect and filtered water. Need more lighting near door. Bottom bed sheet kept coming I. Done and the side of the bed next to bedside stand was pretty sunken. Moved to opposite of the bed for more Comfortable sleep. Wish breakfast was included with the room. Convenient to have on site restaurant.
