The hotel is beautiful, flowers all around, beach views incredible from the colltage and the cottage was clean and comfortable.Just would siuggest an addition of a comfy chair in the upstairs for reading, et. Access to the beach was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful and nice. The location is perfect, close to all the shops, restaurants and bars. No worries about enjoying a cocktail and driving because there is so much within walking distance. Nice furtinture outside the colltage and around the hotel to be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful environment. Breakfast was very good.

It was really the only option that was pet friendly with multiple beds in the room since my kids did not want to share a bed. Complementary breakfast and afternoon wine were an added plus. Close to the ferry and beach. Holly and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location is great. Right on the water with town beach right behind the inn and Barbour in front. Nice to walk out the front door and have to everything right there.

Property was within walking distance with rolling luggage of ferry. Restaurants and shopping also within walking distance. Host was so hospitable and generous to store our luggage before and after check in. Wine happy hour and breakfast were awesome! Room was beautiful. Beach towels and chairs were appreciated. Definitely recommend!

We loved our 1 night stay - early check in was very appreciated, everything was clean, cozy and comfortable. Generous afternoon wine and snacks and very delicious breakfast. Above and beyond our expectations and perfect location. Will definitely be back, thank you!

A delightful experience! Step back in time to a quieter, more gentile time. The 5pm cocktail time provides opportunity to meet fellow visitors. The provided breakfast is perfect with fruit, eggs, pastries, beverages and excellent coffee. We’ve been coming for several years and will continue to stay at the Blue Dory. Close to town and gracious in every way.

Cute little inn. We stayed in the Blue Dory Cottage right behind the Inn. As quaint as it was, we were disappointed that many things weren't working. The deadbolt wouldn't lock, the tumbler just spun around. It was difficult to get the key in the other lock as the lock was heavily corroded from the salt sea air. The jacuzzi wasn't working. Internet was spotty. The manager, Holly, was super. She is extremely pleasant and hard working. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was nice and breakfast was fine. The Inn is conveniently located to the town and ferry. A bit overpriced though.

Spent a couples weekend and had a great time. Holly and Sabrina are amazing and can’t do enough to make you feel like you’re the only guest there. Rooms were very comfortable and tge breakfast was delicious. Nice wine and snacks too in the afternoon! We’ll be back! Rick, Gina, Anne and Benno-NYC

Our stay at the Blue Dory: Waverly Suite II was way beyond comfort and convenience - it was truly phenomenal! The Suite 's deck opens out for easy access to Crescent Beach and the interior's fine touches were perfect for our dogs and us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, and the very best memory was made on Thanksgiving evening when we shared one of the most scrumptious turkey dinners of all time with fellow guests. All were also invited to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and desserts at their sister inn - Avonlea by the Sea. A big 'thank you' to everyone at the Blue Dory for making us feel so welcomed and joyful this Thanksgiving weekend!
