I came with my husband, mother in law, and my two boys age 7 and 10 for one night as we was going to the pleasure beach the next day. Tony and Linda were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us and so knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is very clean and lovely decorated our room had plenty of towels, hair dryer,lovely dressing table and stool aswell as a fridge which was great, very comfy beds and as a bonus had free WiFi and Netflix so as you can imagine was great for the boys. The breakfast was amazing and was plenty to choose from as we do have picky eaters Both Linda and Tony was great with the boys asking them what rides they was gonna be going on etc, they even let us leave our car while we was at the pleasure beach although we had checked out and even waved us off when we left I would highly recommend anyone too go and will definitely return in the future Thanks Again to you both for our lovely stay x

Upon our arrival, the owners greeted us warmly and courteously. They provided a brief overview of the Scala Hotel and its history before asking our breakfast preferences to minimize waste, given the few guests during our stay. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with an ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, and a small fridge with complimentary water. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-ventilated and at a suitable temperature. Downstairs, there is a bar, a pool room with darts, and a separate sun lounge. Breakfast was served promptly, with the hosts offering tea or coffee and a selection of cereals and snacks before the cooked meal. The cooked breakfast was made to our specifications, accompanied by complimentary toast. Overall, this is a great place to stay, conveniently located just a short walk from the Pleasure Beach and tram stops. We will definitely return in the future.

Tony and Linda are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them, and you are made to feel extremely welcome. Breakfast is superbly cooked - bacon, eggs (cooked to perfection) sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, fried bread, tomatoes, hash browns, beans and toast ( lovely bread). All quality ingredients. A pool table and darts board were a great addition. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced, Guinness, Poretti, and Shipyard on draught. The location is a 5 minute walk from the Pleasure Beach, and the Pleasure Beach train station - 30 minutes to Preston on the train. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely return again.

Best Hotel in Blackpool. Tony & Linda were amazing. Breakfast was 5 stars, best i have had in a long time. Hotel has own bar and lounge area which is so lovely to relax in with few drinks with friends or alone . Can't wait to go back. Close to all the main attractions, beach & pleasure Beach. Loads of local transport to get around. Thank you so much to all The Scala Hotel team.

Thank you Linda & Tony for a perfect stay. A lovely warm welcome and showed us our room. Comfy beds and cot all set up and comfy. The breakfast was lovely lots of choice and even made breakfast for our 1 year old. Nothing was too much and they even remembered all our names. Thank you will definitely be back 😊

We stayed for 1 night - last night, I'm not even home yet and had to write our review. Linda and Tony are the most welcoming hosts, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Their hotel really feels like a home away from home. Very clean, spotless in actual fact, and we all had a fantastic sleep, bed were lovely and comfy. The kids had a lovely time in the games room with us, and we all enjoyed some quiet time relaxing in the sun room before bed. The breakfast was fantastic - we had heard good things but it was even better than expected! The kids loved it, Linda and Tony took time to chat with them as well as us, and our boys haven't stopped asking when we could come back! So glad we found The Scala Hotel - we will be back next time we visit Blackpool!
