Four of us stayed here for two nights as we’d booked afternoon tea at the Tower Ballroom (which was fabulous!). We were lucky enough to be able to park on the road outside. Meg was very welcoming and showed us to our rooms, our room in particular was a little small but was clean and comfortable and very well decorated with lots of extra touches such as chocolate & sweets as well as tea, coffee, water & hot chocolate. The en suite was very clean and the shower worked very well. The breakfasts were really tasty & hot. We would most definitely stay here again if visiting Blackpool & thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Meg who looked after us from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, bed comfortable and pillows perfect. Lovely white towels displayed on the bed along with a little person touch of a caramel egg, after eight and packet of traditional sweets. Beautiful fluffy dressing gowns were on the back of the door. I was checking out prior to arriving would a hair dryer be available which it was. I also read that there would be hot chocolate and marshmallows in the room which I thought "Yeah right", but they were! My breakfast was cooked exactly as I had asked. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is also a two minute walk from the train station. The next time I am in Blackpool I will definitely stay here again.

Friendly greeting from Meg, the co- owner who kindly carried our heavy case to our room (No. 1) We were aware when we booked that the room was small but what it lacked in size it made up for in cleanliness, quality curtains, bedding, pillows, fluffy towels and bathrobes. Nice touches in the room - bottled water, marshmallows for hot chocolate, plentiful supply of tea, coffee, milk etc. Some sweets and chocolate as well. Bathroom had cotton wool, nice hand wash, antibacterial hand jel and flannel for removing make up. Breakfast was a treat with good choice of cereal, yoghurt, orange juice,tea or coffee. Main breakfast containing good quality bacon, sausage and other items was cooked to perfection, grease free,nicely presented and hot! The bed was very comfortable and we were not disturbed by noisy guests or banging doors etc.! We wish hosts Meg and Simon continued success and recommend the establishment to anyone wanting a relaxing and peaceful break.
