大庫隆 Spa 度假村(Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort - Adults Only)

Goede douche, goed bed. Ligging vlakbij strand. Mooi zwembad. Niet alle faciliteiten open:zwembad bar dicht, groot terras met mooi uitzicht dicht, alleen ontbijt en de keuken de rest van de dag dicht . Geen matrassen op de zwembad bedden. Oude meubels op balkon. Achterstallig onderhoud van hotel. Geen airport shuttle, wel taxi geregeld (tegen betaling) door hotel.

Bugs biting, dirty bathroom, non functional AC unit, swim up bar not in operation, pictures are extremely misleasing, the place is overall dilapidated.

This hotel has so much potential but it seems as though ownership does not care to repair and maintain it. Many of the amenities advertised are not actually in operation (spa, poolside/ swim up bar, restaurant). As far as I can tell the restaurants are more or less locked and abandoned and only a casual buffet breakfast is available in the morning, which was admittedly decent. Similarly, the spa looked abandoned like much of the property. Most staff were friendly but some were not particularly personable or helpful. Otherwise the room was clean, but we had to call for assistance to lock the door to the balcony. Again, a hotel with potential perhaps with a change in ownership or management.

I loved the fact that this property had a huge pool and lots of activities. They had a pool table and games available as well as a decent sized gym. Staff was very accommodating.

Although dated and in need of lots of tlc, you can't beat its location and view.

6/10. Cons The limited breakfast options, the two days I ate there, only sausage and smoked herring were the “meat” options and I eat neither. I had to eat breakfast elsewhere on the other days. Also, the water displays needed to be cleaned ie the fountain at the entrance and the fish area by the pool. This would add to the beauty of the property. Pros There was an abundance of linens and the staff seemed to clean daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had an ocean view room which overlooked the pool as well and the view was amazing. Hotel was very quiet which I liked.

Property was very quiet and relaxing. Not much people on the Thursday - Friday which I preferred, however more on Saturday. Bfast was good 8/10! Pool huge 4-8ft deep - good dept for swimmers. Staff was generally friendly. Received welcome drink. Room was clean although signs of the properly being old it was fairly maintained. Checked out 12:30 to my comfort. No acitvities on the compound during my stay. Would prefer a mirowave as there is a mini fridge Adults only really helps with no kids screaming. Overall good experience, should you want a quiet, lowkey, relaxing getaway. P.S remember to put DND on the door should you not want towel change .

The place was lovely but they checked us in hrs later, the service needs to be upgraded.. .
