Have to say...we wanted to give this apartment a fair go after reading negative comments.....we should have taken note. We were so disappointed with the lack of cleanliness from the minute we entered the apartment. Unfortunately the property was fully booked so even if we had made a complaint initially, the options would have been nil.. Doors and walls were grubby and finger marked, utensils needed washing before using, the carpet felt sticky and unclean, bed linen had stains....apartment was in need of renovation...particularly the sliding doors, which were almost impossible to open, curtains were shabby and inadequate as they did not 'meet' so lighting from street kept us awake, as did the constant road noise and blaring TV's from other apartments. Lighting inadequate...maybe to conceal the grubby walls? Hot water cylinder in the bedroom wardrobe constantly dripped during the night We approached ********** and they suggested contacting Reception of this 'Resort' which we did... His response was that this property is 25 yrs old, 3.5 star not 5 star. That other people have never had issues with lack of cleanliness. Did admit tha this apartment is in need of re-painting and renovation but that it was always occupied so unable to do those tasks. In our opinion, it doesn't matter how 'old' a property is, there is no excuse for lack of cleanliness and if the apartment is in need of renovation, then do not 'sell' unless those matters have been attended to... Forewarned

Do yourself a favour and read the negative reviews for this place before booking. They are not wrong! It's run by the rudest people you'll ever meet. Our family had multiple issues with the accommodation and were treated like absolute garbage by the manager. Zero stars.

We raised several concerns with management and they became extremely uncivil. It made our family vacation very unpleasant so we left the property 2 days early and found accommodation elsewhere. It wasn't worth the stress.

Only if you’re desperate…. Run down, dirty and for $189 for a week night - no value for money. Left after an hour, wasn’t sleeping in that grotto food crumbs on lounge, dirty stained sheet covers over the lounge. Some interesting activities seem to have occurred on the coffee table? Dirty cup left outside. See pics!

We stayed at this place in April 2023 for 8 nights. Overpriced. Worst serviced apartment I have ever stayed in. Dirty, smelly, noisy. Mold and cockroaches. The complimentary pack included 1.5 Toilet Tissue roll (for 8 nights) :). Avoid this place!

People are quick to write negative reviews so I try to just post when I have something positive to say. On this occasion I can’t help myself. I checked into room 26 late on a rainy night. When I saw the state of the couch I was glad it was late and I went straight to bed. In the morning I saw the state of the bathroom. I called the manager (Jo) from the in room phone, no one answers after several attempts so I called from my phone via the outside number and asked her to come see what I thought was so bad. She refused to come. I checked out without even having a shower. There were too many hairs. I was amazed that Jo wouldn’t want to see what I was talking about. She said if it was so bad I should have said something the night before. I explained that it was late and I was tired. She still refused to come. Quite frankly I found it unbelievable that a manager wouldn’t want to address a clients concerns. I could go on but I’m hoping I can post pics to show what it was like.
