布萊克巴克-叢林度假飯店(BlackBuck Resort-Jungle Lodges)

Das Resort liegt in einem der über 30 Wildlife Sancturies/Naturparks in Karnathaka, direkt an einem kleinen See. Da es in Bidar wenig Hotels gibt, ist dieses Hotel, etwa 10 km außerhalb der Stadt Bidar gelegen, die beste Alternative. Allerdings befindet sich das Hotel noch im Bau und ist Eigentum des Bundesstaates Karnathaka. Es gibt kleine, einfache Bungalows mit einem kleinen Balkon. Die Zimmer haben AC und ein kleines Bad, aber keinen Internet empfang. Etwa 150 Meter von unserem Bungalow Nr. 15 befinden sich Rezeption und Restaurant. Da die meisten Gäste hier wegen des Nationalparks kommen, sind die Essenzeiten auf die verschiedenen Touren abgestimmt. Das Abendessen in Buffet Form wird ab 20:30 Uhr, das Frühstück, ebenfalls Buffet, wird erst um 8:30 Uhr serviert. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, der Service sehr freundlich und nett. Das Blackbuck Resort können wir wärmstens empfehlen.

I and 9 family members were there for 2 nights (23 to 25 Dec 2022). It is such an amazing place in the lap of nature, completely away from city. Highly recommended place to spend quality time with your extended family, friends, close ones. There are so many great things to really enjoy and relish if you have taste and fascination for nature. The staff there is outstanding...nothing less. They are so courteous and friendly that it really adds to your experience. I should apologise to them that I am penning my experience 3 weeks late. Food is very homely and absolutely tasty. There so much to great things write about the staff and property but I would like to end by thanking Mr. Shivkumar and team for making my and my families stay memorable. Let me post some pics.

Very nice resort with 18 cottages which can accomodate 3 -4 people in each (2 adults and 2 children). Nice activities like trekking, wildlife videos, bonfire, boating and a drive to see the Blackbuck deer. Food is amazing and the staff very friendly and polite. No wifi in the rooms which is actually good.

Superb for a 1-2 day trip and stay - with Blackbuck safari and coracle/boat riding included. Enjoyed the safari with a lovely view of the grasslands, spotted many a Blackbuck (thanks to Hussein for making it special with spotting Indian Roller, Wag-tail and Sandpiper birds with just their silhouettes) . Our cottage had an amazing lake-view balcony which was enchanting! In the evening we had the chance to spot Jupiter, Saturn and Mars through their telescope. Coracle ride on the Vilaspur lake was thoroughly enjoyable. The whole setting is very natural and so many bird sounds can be heard clearly! The room was clean, comfortable and despite being right in forest and on the edge of a lake, there were surprisingly no mosquitoes/bugs/insects. There is quite a lot of privacy as there is a good amount of distance between each cottage. The food was sufficient but there could have been more variety. The staff were tourist-friendly and very helpful, as they made the trip very accesible ! Highly recommend a visit!

Great location! But signages to the resort from the main road could be better. Google will show you the correct path. Follow it. Great ambience! Fairly large premises with lots of trees, jungle - like and cottages spread apart well for good privacy. On the back side is a large lake with boating (self pedalling), giving the resort a beautiful backdrop! The basic cottage rooms also are large enough for 3- 4 people, with a spacious attached bathroom and a 8 ft x 8 ft. balcony. However, the bedsheets, linen and curtains felt old, at places torn and out of fashion / dated. Also, the rooms were rustic in interiors. So, don't expect anything like in a 4 or 5 star hotel. But there were a functional air-conditioning, fans, windows with mosquito mesh shutters in our rooms. Rooms were clean. The food and the friendliness of the staff made up well for any deficiences in the resort. Tea / Coffee is available at the dining area from about 6 a.m. Breakfast spread was of good taste and quality, with Indian and continental dishes. So was lunch and dinner, with both Veg. / Non - veg ( Chicken and fish) options. We 5 cousins stayed for a day, in 2 cottages. Surprisingly, there was no mobile network or internet inside the premises and in the cottages! We were told by the staff that the signals are there near the main gate only. And that mobile / internet connectivity should be ready in a few months. There is no intercom also, to call the reception / dining any other room! So, if you wanted anything like water to drink and even to get any info, you would have to walk all the way from your cottage to the reception near the entrance, which would difficult at night. Hope they get intercom immediately.

The place is conveniently accessible - just a kilometer offroad. The staff was very helpful and supportive. Santosh (for food and room arrangements) and Raghu (for the jungle safari trip and bird watching) stood out. The blackbuck safari was good - we could see a huge herd of about 100 blackbucks. The evening safari is said to be better for sighting. Also spotted a dancing peacock. The campfire was okay with a small group staying at that time. Drinks were available. Bird watching tour for an hour was good. Morning temperature in Oct dropped by a few centigrade - was pleasant. Saw quite a few varieties of birds - including peacocks. Did boating in a coracle in the adjoining lake - in the morning. Was a very pleasant experience. Food was good - both veg and non-veg preparations were good. Rooms were very well maintained. Overall experience was very positive, major share to the well-maintained rooms and to the positive attitude of the staff.

We enjoyed the our stay in Blackbuck resort a lot. The place is extremely beautiful and organized, the best part was that we did not find any littering of plastic around. It's really difficult to maintain an Eco-friendly, sustainable resort inside a forest like this. We were amazed with the behavior and hospitality of the resort. Mr. Shivakumar and Mr. Dharmender were extremely polite and courteous. Mr. Raghu - who was our driver and guide for blackbuck safari is a great *** with amazing knowledge on birds and animal habitats - as a Bird photographer, I am fully satisfied with him. I shall sure visit this place again in winter. Thanks for the fantastic hospitality. I encourage every nature lover to go to this place - please keep the nature clean.

A nice play to stay if you are visiting bidar. The food is good and the staff is nice too. The jeep safari and the birding walk is very nice. The location of the resort is nice and you can just chill amidst the greenery and watch the birds and wild boars passing by

Had a great time with family and had an immersive touch of wilderness away from the city. The blackbuck resort team went to great lengths to provide a beautiful experience. Particularly thankful to Sidappa for his expert knowledge about stargazing, blackbucks and birds . Introduced us to some amazing facts. Thanks to Arjun for the kind welcome. Santosh Wagmare for his food and hospitality at the restaurant and his mastery of 5 languages which he puts to work to ensure the guests feel at home. Akash helped with a wonderful boating experience. Many stars in the resort team who I can’t recall but deeply appreciate the kindness and warmth shown during the trip.
