「Excellent accueil et disponibilité du personnel. Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Biarritz (5 min à pied de l’océan-******, 2 min des Halles, 1 min de la Gare du Midi (salle de spectacles). Chambre très bien équipée avec de nombreuses petites attentions (bouilloire, thé, café, sèche-cheveux, mouchoirs, mini-bar (en supplément), kit couture, cotons démaquillants, savon, shampoing, après-shampooing, bouteille d’eau…) Literie très confortable! Ascenseur Petit-déjeuner délicieux avec un choix très varié de sucré et salé faits maison. Lieu paisible qui invite à la détente. Livres et jeux à disposition. On a envie d’y retourner ! Parking payant dans la rue ou en parking souterrain. Places gratuites un peu plus haut dans la ville.」

「Atrocious dinner service; I asked twice for water, but it was never brought. I had to ask a third time. We ate all of our starters without any of our ordered drinks (wine or water) delivered. Awful breakfast service on the first morning. In a busy environment, the logical layout of where plates and cutlery are kept (also a large distance apart) is completely nonsensical and the staff were very slow to replenish breakfast supplies during peak breakfast time. At 9.05 am, a cleaner knocked on the door! Ludicrously early. We shouted to ask them to leave. At 2.52 pm, a male staff member unlocked the door and promptly walked into the room without invitation while my partner was in bed, unclothed. This was grossly unacceptable. On that basis, you absolutely must not stay at this hotel. There is a serious safety issue here. This hotel is the ”Fawlty Towers” of Biarritz, except nobody is laughing.」

「We had amazing experience with Mercure hotels before, as we stayed in Marseille and other cities. But Biarritz Mercure President was perfection choice. We loved the hotel hall, tasty water for guests, nice elevators, we loved our spacious family room with amazing coastal design, great bed and fantastic set of pillows, nuxe refilled products. Good shower flow, good toilet function and nice a/c. We had all we need like safe, kettle, iron, laundry service, ready to help reception. Special thanks for nice breakfast space with terrace and various continental breakfast. Also it’s perfect option for those who rent a car there is indigo parking in few steps, and free parking 500 m walk, as you prefer.」
