One of the oldest hotels in Bhairahawa, (the closest city to Lord Buddha's birth place and city next to Indo - Nepal boarder) but without any doubt Nirvana is the Best hotel in Town. Food is divine and the pork chops in Hawaian style is a specialty here. Rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned daily. Hotel has a large back garden. This place have been one of the best places I would run to during my hectic medical school days.

The hotel is situated near the main shopping street. It's well maintained with very helpful staff. Although we didn't use any catering services, the restaurant was well decorated and nicely laid out. It has a gym, swimming pool as well as on-site massage and well being parlour

We stayed one night at Hotel Nirvana in Lumbini mid March 2018 on our way to visit Lumbini, where Lord Buddha was born. Did not have much idea before we visited the hotel since it was part of our itinerary of the tour. To me it is a budget hotel that you may not get so much luxury. The hotel is located close to the India-Nepal border in the middle of a small town. So you may not get any lovely sceneries here. When we went there it was quite deserted and had the quietness that we all wanted. However, the staff took nearly 1 hour to get our room ready, which we did not like much. They should have been more attentive on these. Food was quite good and the restaurant staff was helpful. The hotel appearance was quite rusty and needs a refurbishment. All and all we had a quiet stay. Can recommend if you are looking for a short stay for a budget value.

Stayed at Nirvana late Jan while on a business trip. There is new management and they have improved the hotel a lot. They are also building a swimming pool, will visit with my family. The bar has been upgraded along with the restaurant, new staffs. Will definitely recommend this place now to others and stay with family as well. Best hotel in Bhairahawa. Would have given a 5 star if the renovations were complete.

First of all its confusing when the address says Lumbini. Its actually 25 KM away from lumbini sacred garden. So if you are travelling to Lumbini by air then its okay otherwise don't choose it. Its close to Bhairawaha Airport. I will request to hotel management to accept payment via cards, so that it will be convenient for travellers/tourists. Rest everything is fine. Rooms are big, AC was working perfectly -no issues. Service was excellent and food is very good (at least if you love indian foods). There is big garden just outside my room , so it soothing to eyes. Price is also reasonable. I will recommend this hotel, and if I am returning to Lumbini , I will stay here again.
