The outside of the hotel is very scruffy, but this is because it is in the process of being refurbished. The rooms themselves were excellent, clean , modern (although the see through toilet door is a bit kinky in room 4.) Although being warned of the step inside the passageway to room 4 my wife tripped up it and the light needs improving or warning tape put on the step. We had to bring the date forward of our visit due to the impending death of a near relative and was very disappointed in having to pay a surcharge of £48.00 per room for the convenience of doing this although we believe the hotel did not have any reservations for these rooms, so could have waived the surcharge. We did not have occasion to eat at the hotel excepting for breakfast which was excellent.

Visited here for an event at de la warr pavilion. This place is perfect walking distance to beach, venue,bars and restaurants . You check in through the rocksalt bar, a very nice bar serving very good selection of draught beers, no fosters 👏👏👏. Andre checked in he was so helpful and very professional. Parking is across the road in de la warr pavilion car park there is street parking but maximum stay is 2 hours Breakfast in the morning, all freshly cooked local produce really nice. Great stay ,comfortable beds ,great staff and great beer will definitely return.

Great Location, perfect place to stay if visiting the De Warr. The room was very clean and with a side sea veiw with a good sized shower. Situated above a bar where breakfast is severd . we also had our evening meal there which was exceptional. Overall I can highly recommend for a weekend break or overnight to see a concert at the De Warr

Warm welcome from the team on arrival, they showed us to our room which was at the back away from the bar which was perfect, absolutely no noise, so a brilliant night sleep on a very comfy bed. (number 6 I believe) Very clean very comfy and the room was warmed for our arrival, always appreciated in the winter!! My only slight thing was the shower not being very warm, but it was warm enough for a winter shower, this is maybe just a me thing but I would 100% stay here again and recommend to family and friends who want to visit the area.

Perfectly located right opposite the DeLaWarre (convenient parking) and a 2 minute walk from some excellent restaurants including Pebbles and Trattoria. - and the beach. There is a friendly bar underneath the rooms. Room 6 was very nicely furnished with a cracking bathroom and comfortable bed. It was a little warm but a powerful fan was provided. Had a little trouble finding it as the sign could have been bolder but just go into Calvers bar on the corner and the helpful staff will help. Excellent breakfast!

What a gem of a find …… lovely b&b over a great bar opposite the seafront. Really friendly staff, clean rooms, cosy bed and amazing breakfast. We didn’t hear any noise from the bar in our rooms. A lovely quirky place to stay and would definately stay again.
