維爾塞旅館(The Wayside Inn)

My brother stayed overnight for a trip to the Cog Railway the next day. The inn was easy to find and the local area was beautiful. We were offered our choice of a room in the main house or in the annex near the river. We chose the latter for the balcony facing the river - the breeze felt great and the sound of the water was relaxing. Everything was clean and in working order and the beds were comfortable. In the morning, they had our breakfast ready for us as soon as the restaurant opened so that we could head out early to the Cog Railway. All in all, a very good stay - would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for relaxation, sleeping next to a river just lulled me to sleep. Breakfast was delicious, close to skiing and hiking, and the cup of clam chowder I had at dinner was the best I’ve ever had. Sarah and the rest of the staff made me feel welcome.

Slept like a baby in the room with two twins, which was the perfect place after backpacking with my brother. Clean, spacious, comfy and elegant. Staff were friendly. Full hot breakfast included, overlooking the river.

Beautiful historic house with elegant furnitures, rooms with the view of the river, quiet and lovely. Excellent service, good quality food and breakfast.

Arrived shortly before 7:00 pm for a one night stay. The room was clean, but a little dated. The grout around the tub needed attention. The view from our room was lovely with the river running past and fall color. The sound of rushing water made for a good night's rest. Since it was late, we made a 7:00 pm reservation for dinner, which was delicious. Absolutely no complaints. Breakfast in the morning was good American style eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, etc. It was hot and the coffee was good. Friendly staff at check-in and in the restaurant. I would stay there again if in the area.

Pretty close to,what we envisioned a New England B&B to be. Friendly staff, nice room and great breakfast. Highly recommend.

The people are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were wonderful and the meals at the restaurant were a joy. We will be back again ! The hotel is clean and spacious and close to what our Locations for fall foliage. The only thing negative was the shower curtain — a curved one in this day and age so it doesn’t touch you when you shower would be wonderful.
