Accueil excellent. Confortable. Garage fermé pour la voiture. Proche de la gare de Viotte sous laquelle on passe pour rejoindre.dre le centre ville à pied qui est essentiellement piétonnier. Un seul petit inconvénient : chambre à l'étage et sanitaire au rez de chaussée. Peut poser problème pour certains.

La Villa Molina is a beautiful apartment, with its own front door, peaceful garden and lovely upstairs bedroom whose electric shutters on the windows ensure such tranquility that you may be in danger of over-sleeping! The eclectic decor is wonderful from the children's height measurements on the door frame and the collections of antique books to the art photos on the walls, and small dishes and pots which adorn (but do not clutter) available surfaces. The space is spotless and Richard is a perfect host, ensuring that your needs are met whether it's finding a late night Sunday dinner in the charming town of Besancon or ensuring that your vehicle is safely stowed in the lock-up garage. And, whilst I suspect that many may have booked La Villa Molina as perfect place to break a journey across Europe, Besancon itself is a town worth a visit. Thanks to Richard for creating such a beautiful space and making it available to travellers!

The 'room' is rather large (more like an appartment) over two floors and quite comfortable. There's also a garden, but we couldn't enjoy it, because of the nasty weather. The location is great. There's a garage, which was large enough for my car with the bike rack still attached. There's also a train station within walking distance and it is an easy 15 min walk into the old town of Besancon. The owner Richard is very welcoming and friendly. In the morning he will provide you with a nice breakfast. We liked the place a lot and can absolutely recommend it.
