had awesome visit in the beach house. staff are helpful and handy. it has direct access which is best for water sport experience that they provide. try to have a boat trip and snorkelling around the island, let the boatman take you to hidden paradise and enjoy everyday fresh catch of the fisherman. stay longer and try a day trip on classic VW and hiking the waterfall. wonderful moments.

Le meilleur endroit de tout jelenga. Hotel ultra paisible , transat sur la plage l'eau à nos pieds pour autant proche de la rue principale ZIDANE, IMAM, RIJAL et ADI sont aux petits soins ils sont d'une extrême gentillesse Un grand merci à eux j'ai adoré l'endroit

Location is jaw dropping as good as it gets. The rooms are good all the important things are there. The food seems pretty good for such an area also. Our room was inundated with Mosquitoes as the sliding doors have half inch gap when closed. Seems like an easy fix really?? As with most of this region you need transport such as a scooter to experience anything. When we asked about this they said it's not a problem we have scooter hire. When we got there they it was such hard task to get transport and they said they actually had to get it organised from where we just come from a few hours south which if we knew we would have just rode our motorbikes. So with no transport we left 2 day early and they had no interest in refund hence the negative review. However, if you bring your own transport and a mozie net this place is very nice..

I stayed at Myamo for 3 nights in the beginning of January. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Imam was very helpful and knowledgeable of the the local area. I traveled solo and didn’t plan much so it was great to have Imam and staff as a resource. They were great teachers too, my bahasa was much better when I left! The location can’t be beat, beach and great surf at your doorstep. The meals were nutritious and hit the spot after a long day of surfing. I really enjoyed Sumbawa and Myamo is a gem I will return too.

My room had a great view of the ocean and we are just steps away. The place is peaceful as you hear only the roaring of the ocean when tide is high. During low tide you can walk as far as you can see shallow water and pick up some sea urchins or even a star fish that got stranded. Am told it is low season hence not many visitors. Which is great for us as we like peaceful and tranquility. We had a great stay at Myamo Beach Lodge with great humble attentive staff. They attend to all your needs and keep your room clean when you go out. Food serve is basic and substantial but they taste good and served on time. They went the extra mile to help get us a birthday cake as we would like to celebrate the birthday of a small child we got to know. Considering the quite remote location and that Sumbawa is an island that is not fully developed tourist destination as compared to the other islands nearby them like Lombok and Bali they are very hospitable in their local manner. Hence when you visit you need to lower your expectation. The local people are honest, humble and very respectful of guests.

Beautiful beach front hotel, location is exquisite, hotel is quiet and luxurious. Pantai Jelenga is one of the most beautiful beaches in See Sumbawa, and thus is the most beautiful hotel I think. Staff went above and beyond to have everything perfect. It was just magic. I'll be back!

Pros: location Cons: Bathroom smelled of sewerage, water constantly ran out, menu options, execution of menu, room really run down and misrepresented in photos, over priced, wifi barely works, 10k to refill your water bottle.
