伊蘇高級飯店(Hotel-Pension Insor)

If you like to sleep in, this is not the place for you. The Church just next door rings it bells every half hour from 8 am. Other than that it’s nothing special but also nothing really to complain about.

I appreciated the area of the accomodation, which was well connected to the city centre in Berlin by underground. I had some trouble at the arrival, because unfortunately my flight had been delayed and I had to check-in at the restaurant in front of the pension. The staff did not speak English and I did not speak German, so I was a little bit in trouble, however finally everything was fine. The staff was however very kind, they tried to sort out any problem. The room was basic, but clean. Unfortunately it is located in a building where the hall is not always clean, since maybe it is shared also with the people living in that palace. However for the price and the good transportation I would consider it anyway for a short stay.

Hotel situato in zona Samariterstrasse, vicino alla stazione della metro. La reception dopo le 19 chiude e bisogna prendere le chiavi della stanza e pagare al bistrot situato di fronte, dove non parlano inglese. Nel sito tramite il quale avevo prenotato era indicato solo di avvisare in caso di arrivo dopo le 20, ma senza indicare nello specifico questo aspetto. Causa ritardo del volo ho chiamato per avvisare, ma la receptionist non parlava inglese, per cui abbiamo dovuto scriverci usando un traduttore. La stanza, con bagno privato, era semplice, ma pulita. Trovandosi in un condominio, passano anche persone che non sono ospiti dell'hotel. A volte l'atrio era maleodorante. Nel complesso, se si hanno poche pretese rimane una soluzione, ma si avvicina più ad un ostello che ad un hotel.
