The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin. Travels with a baby!
To end our visit with our daughter in Ohio, we took her and 9 month old Harrison for a mini vacation in Berlin. What a charming place to stay! The location was perfect, walking distance to so many places. The facility itself was a sweet surprise. So many charming details throughout. As it was a first time trip with a crawler, we were very happy to see there was a baby gate provided! It very much met all of our needs. So many thoughtful touches throughout. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming!

Girls weekend

Birthday Trip
We always enjoy staying at the Wurthmann House. It is very clean and spacious. Robert and Connie are the sweetest hosts, they even left me a delicious birthday cake since we came for my birthday. This isn't the first time staying at the Wurthmann House and definitely won't be the last!

Wurthmann House Stay
Our stay was our 3rd time, and each time was perfect. The rooms were very big, everything was extremely clean, and smelled fantastic. When you stay there, you feel so at home, in a gorgeous decorated place. The owners are very nice and accommodating. When we needed extras they brought them right over. I can't wait to stay here again.

Birthday with daughter
Had a relaxing stay as usual but wish weather was more cooperative as we love the balcony in evenings. So sweet leaving us a cake it was delicious. Everything is thought of and beautifully decorated but as I get older have to watch the tub. Would be nice to have a bathmat for tub gets a little slippery. What is the name of body wash you have in tub it made my skin so soft. Your place is my favorite to stay. God bless!

Stayed 5/18-5/21/25
Wurthman House was absolutely perfect. It's one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The location, decor, outdoor patio area, and host are all perfect. When I notified Robert that the coffee maker wasn't working, a new one was delivered promptly. I highly recommend staying at Wurthman House when visiting Berlin.

Birthday celebration
Wonderful in every way. No recommendations. Will return. Had opportunity to meet owner & learned history of the building, which was great. The pride he takes in the restoration of the building & its history is very evident. Many thanks to the Millers for their hospitality.
