Hotel was just outside of downtown but location wasn’t bad. The bathtub would fill up when taking a shower. Our room had a lot of patched holes. Overall it was ok but not worth the price.

The hotel was in a convenient location and the staff, for the most part, was excellent. However, I left some clothes in the closet when we departed. I called the hotel as soon as we got home to let them know exactly what the items were and where they were located. I gave them my contact info and never heard back. I have a relative in the area that could have picked up the items so they didn't have to ship anything. That was 5 weeks ago. It's a bit disappointing that someone thought it was more important to keep my items rather than return them. That shows a complete lack of integrity. As much as we liked staying here I now have a trust issue with this specific property.

We booked this hotel as part of a partway stop on a road-trip. The hotel description stated the hotel has a bar, it doesn’t. The room was ok but someone had stuck their chewing gum on one of the picture frames. The hotel was certainly overpriced for what it was overall.

Everything was great. I would highly recommend it! Desk clerk was very friendly and check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was nice and check out easy too. We had a lake view room! Awesome!

The breakfast was very good. The bathroom floor in our room was cracked, and the fixtures were a bit old, but the room was very clean and appealing. One staff member at the breakfast bar was extremely loud and was speaking on her phone, but the rest of the breakast and hotel staff were extremely helpful, supportive and welcoming. We would definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again in the future.

Old hotel, rooms, heavily used, very mediocre. Lightbulb out in one lamp, ice maker did not work, found another icemaker, and it didn’t work either. Not what you would call a nice hotel. This said breakfast was very good. Had real bacon and eggs. Overpriced for a Wednesday and February.

The room was so spacious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool and whirlpool were great and the view of Lake Michigan across the street made our stay incredible!
