普拉森特山索尼斯塔精選飯店(Sonesta Select Pleasant Hill)

I was going to give a raving review, but couldn't after what I have been going through to get my security deposit back and an additional charge for $10.03. This was an unplanned and unexpected trip due to the death of my brother and not receiving the security deposit back is a hardship for me.

A good value for a hotel stay. Easily measures up to be a better 3-star hotel. Pricing was competitive when utilizing a booking website. The main exceptions to its being superior in most categories were the low water pressure in the shower, the absence of a bathtub, and one of the two elevators being out of service. Entire hotel staff were friendly and professional, however.

First room given had beds unmade and trash on desk. Second room had beds with no sheets and trash. Third room didn’t have accessible tub which had been requested on the website two weeks prior to our Chris**as night arrival. We were distressed by these experiences. The front desk didn’t authorize any reimbursement. They did not have decaffeinated coffee in the room. Upon checkout they didn’t have coffee in the lobby.

Liked: Location is easy to get to off Hwy 680, fairly new, clean, helpful staff, AC Works very well. ＞＞＞＞ Didn't like, Bed VERY FIRM, Windows sound rating just ok - could hear the highway. Floor construction for sound not very good - could hear the people above walking around at 2 am. Combined for a poor nights sleep

It’s been 9days and my security deposit still haven’t been refunded. I stayed here 3 times and each time I found something wrong i reported it to the fromt desk and all they said was I note it ,please be aware when cleaning the bathroom that has showers curtains that someone takeS time to clean the hair off of the curtains.

This is sort of an odd property. They have definitely put money into it recently with lots of new furniture, carpet, and other finishes. However there is still an old hotel feeling here. Just some weird low maintenance fixes instead of proper things done. The staff was great though.

The property is going downhill. Not as clean as before - the rooms & the exterior. Also, I called for an early check in, and the gentleman was so rude on the phone. And I was only asking to check in a couple of hours early. He just dismissed me & started on a rant. Definitely reconsidering staying here again. No water in the room. Come on now…be better.

We were greeted quite rudely as if we were a burden. I could see she was stressed and complaining to coworker in front of us. Interactions the next day were the same talking down to us with a rude attitude. Every other staff person was more than lovely. Angela should work behind the scenes. It sets a rotten tone.
