Most pleasant experience. Room was large and clean, parking was easy, access to city centre was easy walking. No traffic noise. I left a pair of trousers behind and got a call two hours after checking out when we were visiting the new Great Stupa monument complex just out of town (an unbelievable experience at a place we had never heard of until it was recommended). We had plenty of time to pick up the trousers before returning to Melbourne. Thank you to all involved in the extra effort.

Prior to check in phone calls with Lauren were very helpful. My check in was seamless, Connor was very professional and extremely helpful will queries that i had. My stay was incredibly comfortable the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great, the bathroom had individual shampoo and conditioner supplied and if any further needed they were available at reception. The room was very clean. The cleaners were very friendly asking if i needed anything and kindly provided extra supplies. My overall experience was amazing the team were very professional and friendly they were all a credit to the owner/Manager Jack whom was also very helpful. Thankyou

To the couple driving the Audi hatchback who were on their way to Charlton but got turned back due to road closures caused by flooding... Just a word of advice... The rooms are not as sound proof as you think they are. If you're running the tap to fill the spa your neighbours next door can hear it.. and the spa pump too... But they can also hear you moving and sliding about in the spa... And to the couple that stayed next to us, we could hear every word of your 1am conversation.. oh, and your "sexy time" was hilarious (not sure who was funnier; his guttural moaning that could attract a Moose or her "interaction" sounded like Animal from the Muppets)... Look, if you're gonna run continuous spas until after midnight and well in to the wee hours of Boxing Day morning and chat about your family before flaying about on the bed in throes of passion impersonating motor vehicle accident victims then you need to be aware that others can hear you. For anyone else wanting to get a quiet night's sleep, there may be better options.

The Cathedral Motor Inn caught our eye on a previous trip to Bendigo so when I registered for the O'Keefe Challenge Half Marathon we went and booked a suite here straight away. The handsome red brick construction and central location made it attractive, but upon arrival we quickly found more to like. Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Overlooking a small park, it afforded a pleasant, leafy view which gave a tranquil and cosy vibe to the whole experience. Everything you might want to visit in the centre of Bendigo is within easy walking distance, and there's plenty of parking. An added bonus that I very much enjoyed was the availability of reasonably priced drinks from the fridge in reception - as a cold beer after running 21km is, well, necessary! We loved our stay here and would definitely return.

I booked this hotel and received a confirmation via email. Two days before they contacted me through the booking agent saying if I wanted to stay the price would be increased by $180 for two nights and if I didn't want to pay that I should cancel, I found out one of their employees made a mistake . Apart from this being illegal the hotel offered no help or compensation it even apology . They wasted my time and wrecked my weekend. I don't recommend them.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed including tiny kitchen area with toaster, microwave, refrigerator and sink. The motel is well placed close to city centre and cathedral is almost next door.
