本迪戈本迪戈美術館附近住宿

Stayed there twice now, once in an upstairs room and more recently in a downstairs one. Would definitely recommend upstairs more - rooms are small but well-appointed and it's so conveniently located, 5mn from the Gallery and 10mn from the Ulumbarra Theatre, just off View Street. The wine bar is cosy and convenient (although closed on Sunday). Rooms could probably do with new carpets and a lick of paint but it's a beautiful old building and accommodation prices are very competitive.

We arrived in Bendigo by train and walked to the motel which was a 15minute walk and the location was great. Staff were friendly and let us check in early and asked us which milk we want and told us about the lookout tower step counting challenge. The room was great and the only downside was the absence of a shower curtain and there were no overhead lights. There were more than enough towels and soap a toothbrush and toothpaste as well as Shampoo and other toiletries were all provided. The table was small but had cutlery a toaster, kettle, microwave, tea coffe and a fridge. They also have breakfast starting from $8 but we decided not to opt. If they had a stove you could probably stay there for a week but without one it’s perfect for a overnight stay or 2 night stay.

Excellent service with really friendly staff. He was helpful and knowledgeable on the local area. The hotel is not too far from the center. Close enough to walk. We had a great stay!

Having stayed here before, I was confident that this would be a well-run, reliable and convenient hotel, which it again was. The rooms are spacious, if a little stark in decor. They face a very pleasant interior courtyard, with ample rear access parking. The provision of a breakfast room is fabulous, especially for the business guest, as I was. Reliable, courteous staff and very clean.
