It was a good stay overall. My only negative feedback was loud construction noise that occurred from 8 am to 5 pm daily due to the building renovations and expansions.

We enjoyed the stay here. The area is safe. You can walk to the light house in 10 minutes. The restaurant has decent food choices and quality. The service is great. The shuttle from hotel to airport costs US$10 per person. It’s about 30 minutes drive from airport to hotel. There was construction work going on during our stay. So a little noise from outside of our windows in the day time but it’s not too bad. The breakfast costs about US $12 (for a cup of tea and an omelette).

Maybe a picture at the wall, would look a bit better to decorate the room. Also a better lightning in bathroom and other room. I guess for the future, there might be some places to sit outside, which would be nice.

We arrived hours earlier than the official checking time 3:00pm.The front desk lady checked us in without wasting time. The roof top restaurant has great views and the food is good.

The staff at Golden Bay were amazing! The room was just as great as the staff. Great location and great price! We also loved being able to shop for souvenirs at the Golden Bay store downstairs.

Clean and comfortable room. There was store in the building, unfortunately they closed at 6pm. Bummer…… so far is a good stay.
