I really liked my room and some of the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, I stayed here when they had events going on, and I will say this, the rooms are NOT sound proof. I heard a Christmas party event go on until 3am. After which I heard tables and chairs being dragged and it sounded like crates were being stocked up on top of each other. I stayed 2 nights and both mornings I woke to the sound of blaring music and bass. The door that leads to the balcony is not sealed property and you can hear outside traffic from the highway go by all night and day. The aesthetic of the room is above average in comparison to other hotels in the city, but if you’re seeking peace and quiet and a good night’s rest, This is not the place to get sleep. I even complained to front desk and management and they couldn’t care less as long as payment was received. The food and service at the bar and restaurant was a redemption. One of the bartenders were really good, made me dope side cars and the margaritas were just right! The fried jacks at the breakfast buffet were also really good. Honestly, I think this place has potential to be exceptional, they just need to have their customer service experience match their price point. The other bartender tho, he seemed to prioritized completing inventory than rendering customer service. Like I said given the price point of $200+USD per night they were plenty of missed opportunities for customer retention. The bed is comfy and the room was really clean

We were there for only one night and got so many bites, we thought it was mosquitoes from Belize, then when the bites got red and worse, I googled my bites and realized it was from BED BUGS!!! I travel all over and never got bed bug bites. What a disgusting horrible experience. Stay far away from this hotel! The front desk check in experience was horrible too.

Our stay at the Grand Resort & Residences was the perfect way to close out my first trip to Belize and my birthday getaway. From the moment we checked in, the team was so warm and attentive. You can really feel the care they put into making sure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of. The property itself is gorgeous peaceful, clean, and such a calming place to unwind after exploring. Breakfast being included was such a nice touch, and the food did not disappoint. They also made transportation super smooth for us, which I appreciated so much, especially with all the moving pieces of travel. What stood out the most was how genuinely kind and accommodating the staff were. They made everything feel effortless, and it truly elevated our whole experience. Grand Resort & Residences gave us the perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and serenity. I’m so grateful we ended our trip here , it made my birthday vacation feel complete. I would absolutely stay again on my next visit to Belize. 💛✨🌴

We had an amazing experience at The Grand Resort & Residence, thanks to our server Freddy. His service was absolutely awesome from start to finish. The food was delicious, and Freddy made the entire meal even better with his attentive and friendly approach. He checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and truly made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend dining here — and if you can, ask for Freddy!

My stay began with an incredibly poor check-in experience. Our group had reserved the entire fifth floor for an official event, yet from the moment I arrived at 11 a.m., I was repeatedly told my room would be ready “in 20 minutes.” After three hours of this, colleagues who arrived later were checked in immediately, while I continued waiting. When I was finally given a room, it was a standard queen instead of the luxury king deluxe with kitchenette I had paid for. Only after firmly insisting did the front desk reluctantly switch me to the correct room—one that, as it turns out, had been available the entire time. This raises serious questions about misleading information on their website and whether guests are being overcharged. The housekeeping staff were the only bright spot: friendly, proactive, and genuinely focused on helping guests. In stark contrast, the front desk was rude, dismissive, and failed to provide even basic items included in my reservation, like a breakfast voucher. The room itself had multiple issues—no functioning air-conditioning, a clogged shower, and a broken lockbox. For a 24-hour stay, this was the worst service I’ve encountered. The hotel needs to retrain—or replace—the front desk staff and elevate the exceptional housekeeping team who actually understand customer service.

The service was top-tier, with staff who were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. The pool was clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. My room was cozy, beautifully kept, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated how peaceful the atmosphere was; the noise level stayed low the entire time, making it easy to rest. Overall, Grand Resort exceeded my expectations—I’d definitely stay again!

My stay at Grand Resort Belize was pure bliss — the perfect mix of comfort, class, and Belizean charm. ✨ From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome. The food was full of flavor, the drinks just right, and the design of the resort was absolutely stunning — modern, clean, and filled with tropical touches. The views are breathtaking, with the Belize River in front and the Caribbean Sea glistening behind — truly the best of both worlds. The pool area is another highlight — serene, refreshing, and perfect for lounging or catching the sunset. Whether you’re visiting Belize, taking a solo staycation, planning a family getaway, or hosting a private event, this resort delivers it all. It’s definitely giving Belize City the luxurious lift it needed! And let’s not forget Taco Thursdays with tequila — delicious and a whole vibe! 🌮🍹 Grand Resort Belize is officially my favorite spot to stay in the city — 10/10!

booked this hotel an hour before we arrived ... confusion over room allocated which was very quickly and efficiently rectified by the manager .... very clean and well presented room .... buffet dinner was superb .... would definitely recommend .
