霍斯李普曼飯店(Hotel Haus Lipmann)

Net terug van een korte wandel vakantie. Haus lipmann heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. De kamer was perfect schoon en groot. Ingericht in de stijl van het gebouw maar met modern sanitair. Wij hebben er heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt is normaal een buffet maar ivm corona kwamen de dames de broodjes en beleg langs brengen. Er is genoeg keuze en alles wordt met een lach bij je gebracht. Het ontbijten op het prachtige terras is zelfs zonder eten de moeite waard. Wij hebben de avonden ook op het terras gedineerd en ook hierover waren wij erg tevreden. De gerechten, de wijn de bediening is gewoon perfect en het uitzicht vanonder de druiven op de moezel is onvergetelijk mooi. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug

This evening is our last, here at Hotel Haus Lipmann and we can't believe it has taken us 15 years to come back for another visit! It won't be that long next time, because the employees of Hotel Haus Lipmann are the hardest working, most welcoming people we have come across for a long time! The setting is spectacular, overlooking the Mosel River, the restaurant terrace is easily the most beautiful setting for ALL of our meals! We could not talk ourselves into going to another restaurant because the food was excellent and the setting just the very best! Service was always incredibly good! Everyone working in the restaurant was excellent and so kind! Teresa took our reservation for each dinner and had a very special, understated talent, and classy way of making us feel special, welcome, and as if we were the most important customers there. Our room, the restaurant, and the entire operation was spotlessly clean and had those lovely small touches that creates that wonderful memory that keeps you coming back over and over. Additionally, it is the perfect home base for the many small and larger beautiful towns up and down the river! I cannot give a more enthusiastic recommendation to Hotel Haus Lipmann! That operation exceeded any and all expectations we had, in each and every way for a wonderful place to stay for any reason....pick any excuse to get yourself here!! Sincerely, Jan & Doug Hollenbeck

We visited the beautiful little village of Beilstein for three nights from June 19, 2023 and stayed at Hotel Haus Lipmann. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who showed us to our beautiful room overlooking the village. In the room, there was a nice bottle of the house white wine (they produce their own, and it’s GOOD) waiting for us in the fridge. The room was very spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for our family, and situated in an interesting old half-timber house. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and spacious and very clean, and overall the place maintains a delightful charm while being very comfortable and nice. And then there is the breakfast- oh my! What a fantastic spread, that offers high-quality local fruits, yogurts, bread, meats, cheese and other wonderful things. It is a combined hot and cold breakfast, included in the price for each night. It is truly excellent, not only delicious and interesting but pleasing to the eye in an interesting setting; the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Make sure to try the mini-jar of yogurt with local peaches. Take your food out to the terrace (weather-permitting) and enjoy the view of the Mosel river as you eat. We also decided to eat dinner at the hotel all three nights that we were there. Why go anywhere else? The food is a top-quality taste of Germany, the service is truly excellent, and the setting will provide the charm and experience that you’re looking for. All of the wait staff that we had also spoke perfect English (the hotel hosts do, too) on top of being professional and attentive. The perfect English was not at all expected for us visiting from USA, but a nice surprise. The hotel staff were so warm, welcoming and accommodating to our children, too (ages 6 and 11). In summary, while you will find less expensive places to stay, Hotel Haus Lipmann will leave you feeling like it is worth every cent, and more, and will leave you very happy with your visit and will be a memorable part of your visit to this beautiful region of Germany. Highly recommended!

Adding my voice to the chorus of rave reviews for this property. It really is that good! Super-friendly staff with excellent English skills, ideal location at a beautiful bend in the river (even the visual blight of camping trailers on the opposite shore is not easily visible from the hotel), attractive and quiet village not as touristy as Cochem, lovely antique furnishings, comfortable beds, spotless modern bathrooms, delicious meals served on a terrace overlooking the river, local wines, sumptuous breakfast buffet, free municipal parking within easy walking distance — everything is exactly as it should be. Room 4 has a river view with a private terrace; room 12 a higher floor river view. If I had to find the tiniest fault it would be that the bath towels are perhaps not of the same high quality as the table linens and bed sheets.

We chose Beilstein as a nice quiet place to rest up after a transatlantic flight before heading off to explore other parts of Germany. We were not disappointed. The very warm welcome by Anja and her staff more than made up for the chilly weather outside Haus Lipmann. Anja was very prompt and helpful in communicating via email ahead of time and was a delight to meet in person when we arrived. We stayed in Room 4 which was ample for two people and had a very spacious balcony directly overlooking the Mosel River. As the building, and the family business within it, date to the 18th century much of the decor and ambience are in keeping with that historicity. The bathroom for our room, however, was thoroughly modern. The breakfast included in our room rate was very generous as to variety and quality. Coffee and/or tea are provided as guests arrive (no mouldering in large urns) and eggs were on offer cooked to the guest’s preference. The hotel also has a restaurant open to anyone. We ate there all three nights that we stayed in Beilstein and found both the food and the service to be very good. We did a day trip to Trier and visited Burg Eltz taking the walk from Moselkern. We enjoyed both outings. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and most likely would stay again if we were in the area. We thought it was very good value.

This hotel lived up to reviews. Rooms were spacious and charming. Dinner and breakfast were great and staff very friendly. We loved it. The town was very quiet at this time of year due to cooler weather .

We are still talking about our lovely time at Hotel Haus Lipmann. The owners are totally hands on and make sure you are well cared for. We stayed in the newer studio apartment building which had comfy beds and the best designed and efficient hotel bathroom I have ever seen. The view from the dining terrace was picture postcard perfect and the food excellent. In fact the best schnitzel I have ever had! The location for sightseeing in the Mosel valley also was perfect. We highly recommend the hotel and the delightful town of Beilstein.

I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. We were in the B class room and were lucky enough to get the room with the beautiful balcony that is featured on many postcards and magnets (we bought a couple from the local store as a fun souvenir). The room was large and the bathroom was modern. We spent many hours sitting on the balcony enjoying the view, which included the Mosel, the town (great people watching) and the castle. Everything you want to see all from our balcony! In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the staff were always friendly and helpful. The dinner was lovey and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. I think I saw some reviews saying the food was overpriced but I thought that it was fitting for the quality and the location. We hope to be able to return in the future and I would most definitely recommend a stay here.

This is hotel that truly gives one a nice experience. After having parked our bicycles in their ancient iron arched iron door cellar serving a bicycle storage, we went to our room. And what a lovely room it was. Like the old, picturesque, building itself, it was beautiful and nicely furnished. It was also relatively large and very comfortable (beds, couch, arm chair etc.). The breakfast was in another building. We ate it on their lovely patio with view to river Mosel. The breakfast continued the excellent standard: simply great service and food!
