大橡樹度假村(The Grand Oaks Resort)

Prisvärt och enkelt boende i utkanten av mysiga Beechworth. Smidigt att ankomma med bil och perfekt för ett kortare stopp på vägen. Dock ganska tomt, öde och basic om man letar efter något för en längre vistelse.

Perfekt boende i naturskön omgivning, och med alla Beechworths sevärdheter inom gångavstånd (om än lite uppförsbacke på vägen tillbaka). Jag uppskattade särskilt poolen, restaurangen och servicen!

Nice location, the double room was very small, not even a bench or table to put suitcases on. Motel is very noisy, any noise in corridor or adjoining rooms could be heard in the room

Hosts were friendly, as was housekeeping. Housekeeping always tidying up our room and replenishing our basic supplies which was great. Was nice to have an attached restaurant and bar but didn't eat there, as the menu didn't attract us. Bar was reasonable though. Location is fantastic but facilities lacking. Pool is outdoors and not heated which rules it out in winter. We had a double bed room which was basic, bed was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom showing its age with water delivery that has quite a delay so getting the comfortable temperature is a process. There was a door that allows access from the neighbouring room which means when they wake up, so do we. We could hear the television and their conversations all night and morning which was a major downside to our stay. We stayed for 6 nights and it was an early rise for us whether we liked it or not. Overall a pretty basic stay but adequate depending on your needs.

We stayed in one of the small rooms and it was comfortable and clean. It was in a great quiet location and the motel was quite pretty and common areas were nicely decorated. Happy we stayed there and the price was excellent for Beechworth.

We liked the spectacular park surrounds with giant oaks and trees of all sorts. The Old buildings were beautiful although sadly uncared for. We loved the peace and quiet and the lovely air. We would stay there again but in a bigger (more expensive) room Comfortable bed and window overlooking parkland.

The property is a reasonably priced placed to stay - between chefs at the time I went so the restaurant was closed. The pool needs to be cleaned. Leaves etc blow into the pool but there were cobwebs on the spa bit of it. Rooms are small but wifi was good. A reasonably priced place to stay for a night or two.

Didn't use most facilities, as we were there for a limited time, just for a sleep. Reception was ok, but not overly welcoming. Would stay again, as it is very convenient, and a nice place.

Pool was great, but the room was very small, no bed side tables or power point on 1 side for charging phone, bathroom was good, tv only had chanel 7 and abc, but was a great spot.
