Facility not very well maintained Very disappointed in the condition of facility including no hot water in many rooms.The first morning the desk clerk showed no interest in helping simply saying “ maintenance doesn’t come in until 8:00” that evening a different desk clerk was very helpful but had to spend time going to various rooms to finally find one that had the required handicap shower and functioning hot water that we had to move to that evening. The hand held shower was missing the mount that held it to the wall so you had to hold it the entire shower. The handicap grab bar near the toilet was almost ripped out of the wall and could not be used for support. Additional issues include no heat in 4th floor hallway, garbage bags laying right outside side entry door and the exercise room was never stocked with towels or wet wipes the entire week I was there. The bagels on the breakfast bar were extremely stale. The only real positives were the cleaning crew did an excellent job cleaning my room and the evening desk clerk was extremely helpful in finding a room with hot water and followed up the next evening to make sure everything was okay with the new room. The manager compensated me for the hot water problem but I’d rather not have the hassle of having to change rooms etc.

Never stayed at an Avid Hotel, but will not hesitate to again. Place was clean, nice big room, big TV, and the staff onsite were incredible, which I am not accustomed to. Thank you for an enjoyable two nights! Bruce

Stayed three nights (stay twice a year) First night TV wasn't working. They tried to fix it, but couldn't. I called them on night 3 to report.. was told it needed replacement (at that point i just wanted them to know before a new guest arrived. Manager was totally professional and transparent. I was most happy with their response and consideration. I'll be staying here when visiting Cincinnati in the future

Employees were very friendly and informative. Probably the best part of our stay. Breakfast is as tasty and plentiful. Rooms were overall clean, but the bathroom walls did have specks of mystery fluids, especially around the trash can. Walk-in shower was nice and accessible, but it leaked so bad at the bottom that there was a pool of water on the floor after each shower. Check in area had a heavy perfume smell that was headache inducing. But despite the minor things, the overall experience was great enough for us to return anytime we’re in town again.

The staff was really kind, the beds were extremely comfortable. However, the building/rooms need some repairs. We only stayed one night so it was perfect for a quick trip.

The hotel itself was fine however the walls are paper thin and we heard every sound the above is folks had going on in addition to screaming children running up and down the halls
