Terrible stay Experience was not great. The toilet broke every day for the first 3 days with the manager telling us we do not know how to flush the toilet correctly. Finally the right technician came in and fixed it with 1 day left on our stay. Room was 90 degrees with them telling us to turn down the t stat (which was turned off). Manager does not even have her vmail set up if that is any indication of how they run the hotel.

Rental management is disorganized and confusing. The property has multiple rental management groups which are not connected and do not communicate with each other. Front desk staff is not helpful at all and after 5pm has no authority to help customers with accommodation requests or issues… prices are extremely high for the poor service provided by the staff

Quite familiar with Beaver Creek/Vail Valley over the last 30 years have stayed numerous places but first time at St James Place. St James Place is right on what I call the Village Square at Beaver Creek where they hold concerts/yoga/activities of every kind. Highly walkable area with at least one golf course (I'm not a golfer so zero help there sorry) Very impressed...as many likely know, older properties tend to have larger units and SJP 3BR was I think almost 1400 square feet. Very spacious with the master suite by itself on one side and the two other bedrooms next to each other down a short hallway. All 3 bedrooms have ensuites which is so great. Two of the rooms have king beds and the 3rd has two full beds. Kitchen nicely appointed with granite counters and all appliances. Washer/dryer in the unit. A/C which is so great and not typical in Colorado mountain resorts. Each room has an individual A/C unit mounted near the ceiling (not associated with the windows) with it own temp controls. Nice sized living/dining great room concept with large dining room table and bar stools at the kitchen counter. Nice sized tiled balcony with patio furniture. Property is elegant and well-kept and staff friendly and helpful. No outdoor pool...Only an inside pool with a hot tub and one outdoor hot tub with a nice view of the Village Square.

Our experience is always enjoyable and the service is A+, including the climate controlled underground parking. The condo is always clean and stocked with utensils, appliances for every need. We enjoy the location even though we don't know which condo we will be staying in, with or without a view, the amenities are favorable. We especially enjoy the cuisines of the restaurants in the area, each having their own specialties. There is shopping in the area and surroundings towns for souvenirs, any type of clothing for all seasons and household items. The area also provides whatever sport you like from skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing, kayaking, white water rafting and many more. Happy Travels!

Room 233A stunk so bad of cigarette smoke we could’t wait to leave. The bathroom reeked so bad it would overshadow anything you happened to do in there. The ceiling light between the beds looked like an oversized bird cage and hung so low that anybody over 5’10” would crash their head into it if they got up in the middle of the night. The toilet paper holder was dangling from the wall and there was not even a chair to sit in. One expects more from a resort property rented through Beaver Creek Resort Rentals. This was worse than a Motel 6. When I was at the front desk waiting to get a hair dryer, one angry guest was on the phone with the unit owner/management company about a problem with his unit. Another staff member was trying to find another guest’s reservation which had vanished from the reservation system. I felt sorry for the people who had travelled far to end up at this place, as well as the courteous front desk staff who had to deal with these problems.

This is not a 5 star resort, but a good deal for the price. The location is fantastic, walkable to main lifts and great restaurants so you never have to drive in snow. Our unit surprisingly included 2 parking spots in the garage, and even fit our F150 with few problems (most garages are a bit of an ordeal with a large truck). The pool and hot tub were also a pleasant treat after a long day skiing. The internet was adequate for both my husband and I to Zoom at the same time. Housekeeping only comes once a week, but was responsive when we needed something on a different day. I would stay here again.
