The hotel has quite a number of pluses: attractive, well-located building, smart modern interior, generally well-designed rooms… But there are some (mostly minor) negatives too. Finding your way into it by car through the one way system is difficult, as the obvious route is “no entry”. They had told me when I booked that there was a free hotel carpark. What they didn’t say was that there were only half a dozen places, though happily we got the last one. Otherwise, it wasn’t clear what the nearby long stay solution would have been. The welcome was average: they didn’t have the key ready despite my checking in online 2 days before and they needed prompting to produce the voucher for the Accor loyalty welcome drink. Also it was firmly only for the cardholder, not for his companion too, as in some more generous Mercures. There was a touch of meanness about the equipping of the room. One tea bag. No free water in the fridge – but a note inviting us to spend 7 Euros on a reusable bottle which they would then fill for us! (There are other ways of achieving “zero plastic”, eg glass bottles as in the Amiens Mercure or cartons and tins as in Clermont-Ferrand.) The tiniest of paper cups for making tea. (No wonder they thought one tea bag would do for both guests!) Only two plugs for charging things, though admittedly there were four USB points. Breakfast had the same sense of putting out as little as they could get away with and spreading it sparsely over too wide an area. There was an almost total absence of staff as well, so that when the inadequate supply of croissants ran out at about 8.20 it took a long time to find someone to ask for more and then, by the time they were baked, we had effectively finished. The layout of the provisions also defied any logic, with milk as far away from the cereals as the size of the room allowed! Overall though, the quality of what was on offer was fine. It was about 10-20 Euros a night more than some of the other Mercures that we use quite regularly, without much obvious justification, except that the Beauvais restaurants also seemed above averagely expensive for what they were too. Nonetheless, if Beauvais offered a decent restaurant or two (see separate 3 star review of Le Senso, widely regarded as the best in town) I would use it again as an acceptably convenient and comfortable stopover.
L'hôtel est très bien situé pour les voyageurs en train, face à la gare. La chambre est assez spacieuse, confortable et la literie est très bonne. Excellent petit-déjeuner et personnel disponible et agréable.
Very good hotel, would certainly go back again. Quiet and clean and polite and pleasant staff. Nice fast food and restaurants facilities nearby and close to the airport. Paris only one hour and twenty minutes away from Beauvais Gare. Good breakfast and all night bus to the airport.

We booked late in the evening as our previous booking had been cancelled on us, when we arrived it was late and no one around. While doing the check in at the machine my son heard screams. Didn’t think much of it, thought it was someone messing, maybe just drunk. When walking up the stairs there was a man holding a door while a woman on the other side was crying and screaming. He was banging the door and kept opening it to hit her. We obviously didn’t feel comfortable staying so didn’t even get to the room, as they was in the room between our two of four rooms booked. I tried to contact the property but all I got was an answer machine. No security on either. We ended up going miles up the road and had to stay in a car park on a toll road. My sisters younger son was sick on himself through fear, and we haven’t even had an apology from the property let alone a refund. I’ve never been so scared, it was like something out of a movie.
訪訪客用戶We survived the insect bites, the spiders, the damp rooms, the horrendous receptionist Karin . The only positive thing about the place was the housekeeper Joy, who was indeed her namesake. The receptionist Karin was the most offensive, lazy, rude, arrogant and dismissive person we have ever met. She refused to give me extra milk the first morning when it had run out, told us huge spiders were normal, damp rooms were fine and that the bite on my friend's neck was allergies. When we checked out on Sunday morning at 11.55am, we were told we could not stay in the building as the reception area was occupied and that we couldn't use the dining area to wait an hour for our taxi. She also told me that I was a bad person as I said I was going to put a negative review on ***********. Karin also told us we shouldn't expect much from the hotel (when we were trying to convince her that we should be able to stay inside) as it was only a two star! By the way, I have never seen donuts cut in half before and the bread was stale. The night receptionist that was 'checking the hotel' (smoking outside I think) while I was using my phone as a torch to try and find my key from the reception desk at midnight barged into my room 30 minutes later telling me that I should have contacted him to get my key! No-one was there and the door had a wooden statue behind it! Our saving grace was Joy the housekeeper who allowed us to stay in one of our rooms as she wasn't going to get to it straightaway. Otherwise we would have been sitting in the rain! I enclose a photo of one of the three seats in reception for your viewing pleasure!
訪訪客The price is low but the quality is not bad. The decoration is pleasant. The staff is helpful and nice. It is sufficient to spend the night before taking the plane. Wifi is easily accessible without a complicated code. No code at all. There is a bus shuttle that takes you to the Beauvais airport early morning in about 20 minutes as early as 6:30 am. for about 4 €, and there is a possibility to pay just 1 € by SMS. Have the necessary cash available with you otherwise the Bus shuttle won't take you on board.
