Very disappointed! If you dont want to feel like a second-class citizen, do not go to this hotel. The hotel caters to VIP diamond club members and the regular guests are left to fend for themselves. The hotel advertises 4 a la carte restaurants, but if you're not a diamond club member, you WILL NOT get a chance to eat there. We had to wake up at 7am to make a line for reservations and still were unable to get a reservation on some of the restaurants. We were able to sign up for the steakhouse and ended up waiting 3 hours to get seated. Simply not worth the trouble.
For the beach, I woke up at 6am every day to get beach chairs as they dont have enough chairs for the hotel guests.
The food was subpar and the drinks were horrible (even the sodas were flat). The facilities are very limited, one tennis court, one pickleball court, one basketball court and you have to make a line for everything.
We had 2 rooms and had to change them twice due to an unbearable smell of humidity. One of them was on top of the restaurant and the room smelled like barbecue. Glad they were able to change it for us. In the end, we still had to request for a dehumidifier, as the new rooms started to smell as well, but it worked fine.
The majority of the staff was very nice and pleasant, others were very rude. We encountered so many guests who were complaining about the same things as us. I never write bad reviews, but this hotel needs to do better.
