"Beautiful beach house with a breathtaking view in front. Place was quite spacious with serene architecture. Good service too. Bidet shower was leaking, otherwise the room was clean and the colors were my favorite. King coconut welcome drink was superb. I asked for another with breakfast. Teardrop always had the best coconut ice cream. And the beach house had a nice Crab Croquettes. Also they served a happy hour. One dish particularly too sour for me (Seafood Ceviche). Also they charged for a tea we ordered after dinner but not the coffee. Bit unclear about that. Wish they had more hearty Sri Lankan seafood dishes."

"Our stay at Giman Free Beach Resort, Pasikuda was extremely disappointing due to poor management and lack of basic hospitality standards. The prices are very high, but the food quality is terrible. The portion sizes are very small, and the food was not tasty at all. It is definitely not worth the money. The management is very poor. On the last night, a man fell from the upstairs, and shockingly, the staff did not attend properly to the situation. The manager was not aware of guests or staff issues and was very unresponsive. Both the staff and management failed to handle the situation responsibly. The rooms were not cleaned properly, the TV was not working, and basic maintenance was clearly ignored. The swimming pool was not maintained at all and was full of dust, making it unusable. Additionally, the road leading to the hotel is in very poor condition, which makes reaching the place difficult. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price, lacks professionalism, and does not care about guest safety or comfort. Not recommended at all."

"From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and shown around the hotel , which is beautiful . We were taken to our 2 bedroom beach villa with a very large pool , which was huge and had a real wow factor . We spent 13 nights at the hotel . We were greeted early on during our stay by Arshed , the Manager , who is very charismatic and charming . Every single member of the staff at the hotel was super friendly towards us and always greeted us with a friendly hello , smile or a wave . This was everyone ; the pool staff , the cleaners , the ladies who tirelessly cleaned the beach all through the day and of course the staff at the restaurant and pool bar . We never met the person who cleaned our villa but it was done daily and it was always immaculate . Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names but we would like to thank Dilshan , Tharushi and Chamod for looking after so well during our stay . We enjoyed chatting to them. I had a birthday whist at the hotel and the staff made it so special . My bed was beautifully decorated , and a cake given to me during dinner and all of the restaurant staff got together to sing happy birthday , including the Manager , Arshed . It really made the day special . The setting of the hotel on the beach is spectacular and has a feel of the Maldives . We would go back and stay at the Sun Siyam in a heartbeat . It’s the people who all work at the hotel which makes a lovely hotel feel even more special . Thanks to everyone in making our stay so enjoyable "
