-GUEST ROOM ( double bed, workspace, travel-size closet & dresser, WiFi, ceiling fan, heater )
-NEXT DOOR bathroom w/shower & bathtub
-PRIVATE ENTRANCE
-PRIVATE YARD & DRIVEWAY (might be shared)
-Ideal location
-5 min walk to YMCA ( pools, gym, sauna, etc)
-10 min walk to waterfront, restaurants, shops, groceries.
-10 min drive to Brunswick/Bowdoin College
-short drive to the ocean beaches, state parks, antique malls, Freeport shopping.
-30-min drive from Portland

A pleasant weekend
Clean, well maintained, slighly funky in an historical way . Very convenient to great breakfast spots and downtown Bath. Would stay there again.

Just what it was
Bedroom and a bath… no frills. Nice property. Really nice location. Host was willing and able to meet a couple special requests. Will hopefully use again when visiting the area. Thanks Dimitri!!!

Not what I expected
The outside of property was unkempt, overgrown lawn. Property manager changed the entrance I would check in the day before I arrived. I was told door would be unlocked and key would be in plain sight when I walked in. I never found a key. The stairs were so steep and very difficult to get up. The place was clean. The room was smaller than it looked online, it was hot, one small window. Ceiling fan worked on low, when on high it wobbled and clunked so bad I was afraid it would fall off. I never got a number to call. I did not feel safe being unable to lock the door. I also had no idea who else was at the property and couldn't lock my belongings in my room. I ended up leaving and going to a motel. I messaged the manager when I got to the motel. He was not polite in his response. Nor did he offer any type of reimbursement and was adamant the key was in plain sight. It was not, I looked multiple times for a key that was not there. He admonished me for not calling. I couldn't find a phone number in any of the messages.

Stay in Bath, Maine
The property was clean and in a great location. The communication with the owner was very good. My main concern was that the room was a little cold--but I may not have fully anticipated the temperature of Maine in October!

The amenities were not we had expected. They were fewer. But our host still made us very comfortable.

Did not stay the night.
Husband could not go up and down stairs every time we needed to go to the bathroom. On a/c no tv. On kitchenette had to stay somewhere else.
