Arrived on 24th. We had booked via a third party. So not accepting a great room, Standard double This was my 60th birthday treat. Few weeks later , GHS you can check my details . I could have cried when I saw the shoe box we had been given I didn’t want to upset my husband so didn’t make a fuss. I noticed as were unpacking an unpleasant smell in the room . It’s then I saw all the stains, of various colours on the carpet. All over the room . I went to reception and ask for the carpets to be cleaned. I showed the photos of the carpets and was assured it would be done . Returning later that evening, the room had not been cleaned so we had to sleep with the smell . Next day I asked would it be sorted that morning. We were told we would be moved. Returning lunch time , we had informed the hotel prior to booking because of a medical condition I have I need to sleep several times during the day . We were told it would be arranged by the afternoon shift. So again I had to sleep in the smelly room . We were moved later when we returned to sleep again but it was pointed out to us we had booked a small, sorry standard room and could not except a bigger room . I accept this but I expected the room to be clean …. We were given a larger room at the side of the hotel. The room service is poor, slap dash at best. The TV remote has years of grime on it and we were bitten constantly The coffee pods are free for one day only. Then cost. 1.50€ each. buy your own at Tommys A completely unforgettable trip

Уютный отель. Великолепный персонал. Удобное расположение на набережной, у моря. В Башка Вода меню всех ресторанов одинаково. Ресторан отеля не исключение. Но готовят в нем очень недурно, обслуживание отличное. Из минусов - завтраки не блещут разнообразием. Пляж общественный, шезлонги и зонтики за отдельную плату. Туалет и душ на пляже платные: 0,5 евроцента. Ввиду этого отдыхающие этими удобствами не пользуются и к вечеру в море можно встретить неприятные сюрпризы.

If you want to experience a magnificent evening with world class service and food then I can highly recommend eating at the restaurant at Hotel Slavia. I want to personally thank the manager Jadranko for his genuine professionalism, passion and warmth as he always provides outstanding service and ensures an evening worth remembering.

Superb, quality food prepared by excellent cooks! The ingredients are superbly prepared, beautifully arranged with a touch of modern and innovative taste. Great! We, as an international group, ordered tuna fish with unique taste of side dish and lamb cotlets with a delicious perfectly matching crispy side dish. memorable taste! As for desserts we ordered Lava cake, giving a superb innovative taste and Crème Brulle. To add to it, the restaurant is professionally managed by well-known and internationally experienced Jadranko S. who makes sure to provide the best food and the best service with a touch of special to a client. We highly rank and recommend the restaurant at the Grand Hotel Slavia in Baske Vode to which we shall definitely come back!!!

Excellent location directly across the road from beach. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was very good. The staff in restaurant & bar are very friendly and helpful. The reason for not giving 5 stars was due to reception staff. On checking in, parking was difficult to find and so I with my three children had all our luggage while my husband parked the car. The man on reception offered no help whatsoever. He could see I was struggling with bags and tired children & didn't even offer to hold the door so I could access elevator! In 30+ deg heat & after a 6hr car journey this was not what myself or my family needed! A little help would have made the check in a lot more pleasurable. The rest of the staff are so good that I feel the gentlemen on reception are failing their colleagues.

The location , directly facing the promenade and sea is perfect. If you can , choose a room with a sea view; we opted for a premium double room with a sea view, which was on the third floor. The room was very comfortable. The decor is modern Art Deco and whole hotel furnished and cleaned to a high standard. There was ample variety at breakfast and overall we were happy with the food and the restaurant (we had booked half board). The staff work had to maintain the 4* environment. We did have an issue with our room on day one but reception and the Manager went out of their way to rectify the problem , changing our room and showing genuine concern for a problem which to some extent was out of their control. There are facilities such as a sauna, pool , jacuzzi and a beauty treatment facility but other than viewing them (the environment was quite luxurious) we can’t give an opinion but I would assume these facilities would be of the same high standard across the whole hotel. We would happily recommend this hotel and location for a break .
