太陽海灘別墅飯店(Hotel Villa del Sol)

Little roach in bathroom, also a small Snake like bug. The first 2 nights, we had loud neighbors Next to our room. We complained and nothing was done. We told Maria the manager and got no Compensation at all. It is a cute hotel , close to the beach

I don’t think I ever leave reviews but feel compelled because what I read from other reviews - and the rating - does not reflect my experience at all. The rave reviews are shocking. Our hotel room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Truly false advertising. Our tiny room with the king size bed was basically like a youth hostel crept we paid over $150 to stay there! Unbelievable. Awful dreary carpeting, the cheapest saddest furniture, a bed shoved up against windows. The room did seem clean — but that’s it. Truly it was depressing to be in there. I wish I had taken some pictures to post here. The outside area is the only nice part of the hotel. The entire interior is tired and old and in desperate need of an update. It is clearly not a hotel for anyone elderly or disabled as there are only stairs so you have to carry your luggage up and down. It is also noisy. Anytime anyone comes in and out of their room there is a loud bang. The wifi also barely works. The only positive was how close it was to the airport. But overall we were grateful our stay was only one night. How this hotel is categorized as three stars is one of life’s great mysteries. I have had better rooms in two star hotels!

Nos gustó mucho, está cerca de todo, restaurantes, tiendas y muchas cosas que ver. La playa solo a unos pasos caminando, la piscina es espectacular y hay café todo el tiempo para los huéspedes. El personal es esmerado y atento y estuvieron pendientes de todos los detalles para que la pasáramos super. Recomendado, queremos volver!!

This is a very clean property. The room had a nice shower and a refrigerator. The building is older so didn’t have USB ports. The facility has a nice pool, you can buy drinks and snacks, it has restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a nearby car rental service. It is located very near the ocean. We were able to walk the ocean every morning. The staff offered us the use of their laundry dryer. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board in the room. It was near the airport so you could hear the planes but it was not bad. The staff was extremely pleasant and eager to help. There were many open areas where you could sit and play games and socialize. For the money, I will definitely be back to this hotel. The area was safe.

We had room 111, it felt like we where in the basement. Could use a Muriel on the wall to look more welcoming. Otherwise rest of the property was very nice.

We like the location and staff attention. We don't like that doesn't have handicapped facilities. No elevators, no wheelchair ramp, etc.

We had to beg for clean towels. The bathroom was dirty. Staffing had an attitude.
