At check-in we were told that it would cost us over 16 Euros for the buffet breakfast, and only moved off that when I checked the paperwork to show that breakfast was included in our rate. When we used the shower, it didn’t drain properly. Given the toilet is placed in the shower (really), in order to use it, we had to put towels on the floor while the shower drained. We reported this to the front desk the day after arrival and nothing was done to fix it during our 3 day stay. The telephones weren’t working and the English channels were scrambled. The staff blamed this on the City and said it would be fixed the next day. It never was. Without any notice or explanation, I received a credit card charge for $5.89 even though we didn’t use anything in the bar fridge to account for this. This hotel is not inexpensive and yet the service is very poor.
