巴塞羅那大陸飯店(Hotel Continental Barcelona)

Let me start by saying that this hotel was definitely not what I expected and I’ll explain in details so that anyone that books after reading this knows the reality of things: - At our arrival at the hotel, the first thing was the elevator broken. Supposed to be fixed the following days but at the end wasn’t fixed for 5 days, at our departure wasn’t fixed still. Causing people to arrive exhausted at the lobby, carrying their luggages for 4 floors. I wonder what an elder person or someone with a physical disability could do in this situation. - When you enter the hotel, corridors and part of the room smells very unpleasant. The humidity is everywhere and it’s just very displeasing to enter or exit with this smell. - “The key policy situation”. You have to return/pick up your room key to the lobby every time you exit or enter the hotel. We experience the situation of a gentleman that did not really remembered his room number and was asking for random numbers and they just gave him the key without confirming his name. I believe that if it’s a must to deposit the key at the lobby then a name/ surname or ID check to pick up the key should be done before giving away room keys to possible strangers. - There is no toothpaste, flip flops or personal use amenities that normally a hotel should provide. Just the sign you can see below, I guess they sell at the lobby. - The 24h buffet has a very limited selection and is the same for breakfast with some extra items.( picture above). Mind that almost all the food for the buffet is kept cold, so you will have to reheat it in the microwave. - Being a very old hotel you can hear the water pipes all night long. Good things about our stay at the hotel; - location( close by the metro and bus stations) - Right on the Ramblas - The toilet of our room was renovated and pleasant. - The bed is comfortable although I pointed out I was on my honeymoon when booking the room and they gave us 2 separate beds.

Very helpful & courteous staff. They help us on enhancing the snacks provided & cleaning the tables. They advised on the food. They provided guidance on airbus service, how best to take & details. They provided a table for breakfast with an excellent street view.

Excellent location and buffet 24h available. The hotel is a bit old but good value for the price.

A nossa estadia correu bem. Atendimento acolhedor, solicito. Os funcionários muito educados. A oferta de um buffett 24/h, é deveras interessante. Bom pequeno almoco, variado. Localizado numa zona de acesso fácil e todos os transportes públicos Bus, metro. Tem alguns inconvenientes, mas temos que pensar que escolhemos um hotel de uma certa linha e priveligiamos o preço/qualidade dentro de um plafond, nao vamos querer hotel de 5 estrelas e exigir o que não está indicado.

Maravilhosoooo. Amo esse hotel, fui três vezes a Barcelona, nas três vezes me hospedei la e quantas vezes eu for, tantas vezes lá me hospedarei. Camas confortabilissimas, chuveiros otimos, funcionários maravilhosos, buffet 24 horas com comidinhas, sucos, frutas, refrigerantes, cafe, cha, vinho, cerveja, sorvete, etc. Localização nota mil, ambiente agradável. Simplesmente amo.

Fue una estancia maravillosa. La recepcionista fue muy amable desde el primer día. Aunque nuestro vuelo desde EEUU llegó en la mañana, nuestra habitación estuvo disponible para descansar un poco. La habitación tenía una vista espectacular a La Rambla. Siempre hubo agua caliente en el baño. El buffet siempre tenía comida (y café) caliente, y el personal fue muy atento, nos orientaron bien y siempre tenían una sonrisa.

Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti in questo hotel e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulita, aveva anche frigo e microonde a disposizione. Abbiamo trovato ottimi i servizi di questo hotel, soprattutto ol buffet 24h , con a disposizione anche soft drink di vario tipo. Lo staff è molto gentile e amichevole e a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità.La pulizia in generale dell hotel è stata estremamente buona, sia della camera ma anche degli spazi comuni. La posizione dell hotel è perfetta, in pieno centro, sulla ramblas. Ci siamo sentiti sempre al sicuro e abbiamo potuto muoverci facilmente. In generale l'esperienza è stata veramente ottima.

Me gustó el concepto, no hay lujo pero ofrece muy buen servicio y en especial es muy práctico el desayuno buffet de 24 horas incluido en el precio. Me hospedé en diciembre y era muy practico ya que al salir o llegar podía disfrutar de excelente café express o panes y tapas

Muito boa!! Hotel aconchegante com excelente atendimento, quarto amplo, muito limpo, cama confortável, banheiro excelente. Bom café da manhã e buffet 24 horas incluso. Localização perfeita! único problema foi o barulho no piso dos corredores e nos encanamentos mas nada que tenha atrapalhado demais.
