Poblenou B&B客棧(Hostal Poblenou)

Nous avons passé 4 nuits à Hostal Poblenou B&B, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre expérience! J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le quartier Poblenou, animé sans être trop bondé ou touristique. Il y a plein de belles pâtisseries et boulangeries, de bons restaurants (notamment Més de Vi pour le souper & Can Dende pour le brunch), de beaux bars à cocktails (Madame George & Balius Bar), de jolies boutiques de vêtements. Il suffit de marcher 3 minutes et nous sommes à la plage, en train de nous baigner dans la Mer Méditerranée, de boire un verre sur le sable chaud ou d'admirer les joueurs de beachvolley. Gros coup de coeur pour l'accueil. La personne, capable de parler en anglais, prend le temps de tout nous expliquer, de nous faire visiter les lieux, de répondre à nos questions. On se sent comme chez soi : sont mis à notre disposition de l'eau, du café, du thé, de la limonade faite maison, une magnifique terrasse partagée ensoleillée remplie de jolies plantes ouverte de 8h AM à 8h PM, en plus de jolis sacs et serviettes de plage. Un service de lavage est également disponible pour 10 euros. Il est possible, pour 10 euros par personne, de prendre le petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse, qui est vraiment excellent! Le menu est varié et sain. La chambre (106) est spacieuse, coquette, propre et lumineuse. Seuls petits bémols : le lit double consiste en fait en deux lits matelas de lits simples collés (ce qu'on savait à la réservation), ce qui rend le tout moins confortable, et la chambre n'est pas très bien insonorisée (sans que ce soit bruyant - c'est plutôt qu'on entend parfois un peu les voisins ou les gens qui passent dans le corridor). Le métro est à 9 minutes à pied, ce qui est fort apprécié, et il est aussi possible de se déplacer facilement en autobus.

We loved this place! Clean, simple, attractive, comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with lovely outdoor spaces. But the best aspect was the location. The neighborhood was within easy subway access to tourist sites and the rest of Barcelona, but was off the beaten path. Near to the oceanside. Relaxed, accessible ramblas/boulevard with many area bars and restaurants and outdoor dining areas. This was the best part of our visit to Barcelona.

We really enjoyed this bed and breakfast. Quiet location and kind and helpful staff, good breakfast! This neighbourhood might not be the most central to attractions, but one bus ride was usually all it took to get somewhere. I found the bus clean, frequent, and safe. What you get in return is sleeping in a neighbourhood that quiets down at night, and it has a nice, “local” feel to return to after a day of exploring the city. Great restaurants and shopping. Also a market. If you like slick, keyless entry and elevators, this hotel might not be for you, but if you like charm, a good night’s sleep, services nearby, and the advantage of staying close to Bogatell Beach ( nice just to take a coffee to and look), I highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be sorry!

This was a quaint and charming gem. Fabulous hearty breakfast with vegan options too. I had the best avocado toast there. There was a lovely outdoor terrace to enjoy breakfast or tea and coffee most of the day. My room had high ceilings and a very comfy bed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in pointing out things to do and how to get there. The neighborhood was great too. Tons of restaurants and shops and nice to see somewhere aside from or in addition to Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. I would stay there again for sure!

Welcoming hostal, 3-minute walk from the beach. Very friendly owners who made us feel right at home. Large airy room with a double bed and extra bed for our son. Lots of good storage. We had an internal room overlooking the terrace, which would be nice in warmer weather. Delicious freshly made breakfast that you order one day in advance. Lost of choice: pancakes, avocado on toast, smoothies, eggs and bacon etc. The area makes you feel like you are Spanish and not a tourist. Lots of great bars, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. A great alternative to the city centre and easy to reach by bus or metro. We'll be back!

A chilled, calm and beautiful b&b. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculate and stylish. Our room was on the front and the road was a little noisy but the complimentary ear plugs did the trick. We slept well every night. The breakfasts were spectacular. A great choice and freshly prepared every day. Location was great, plenty of restaurants and minutes away from the beach. We loved staying here. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful 5 days at hostal poblenou. Such friendly helpful staff , freshly made breakfast on a beautiful terrace each morning , free safety deposit box, beach towels , water, coffee and tea all day . Lovely clean bright room , location amazing and beautiful with a tree lined avenue full of restaurants and cafes right from the door and lovely sandy beach literally a few minutes walk . Barcelona City centre is 5 minutes in a taxi or a walk along the promenade . Cannot rate this bnb and location highly enough , from a very discerning traveller!! Just perfect

Highly recommended! Great location-beach and bus system! Lovely breakfast, friendly staff! Staff went above and beyond! Mercedes the owner made a point of introducing herself! I will definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The room was so cute, the beds were very comfortable, it was quiet at night and the terrace was a nice bonus. The staff were all very nice and helpful, even helped us with our lugguge (no elevators). The location could not have been better, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but still had lots of shops, plenty of dining options and was close to the beach!
