The Ringling House Bed and Breakfast surpassed our expectations in the most delightful ways! My two besties and I arrived on a Friday evening to a quiet and personalized welcome: complimentary wine and cheese as well as time to take in the historical grandeur of a Ringling residence. We chose adjoining rooms so that we could combine amenities but that was not necessary. Each room is unique and offers privacy and all that one might desire. Our rooms were clean, charming, and came with some welcoming extras. It is such a gift to sleep in, walk downstairs, and enjoy a delicious, homemade breakfast in a beautiful space. This is one of the PERKS of staying in a B & B versus other "on your own" short term stays. I am an early riser, so I enjoyed the additional luxury of walking around to view some historical items while listening to "old-timey" music. Our trio also benefitted from lounging with the owners, who shared stories and recommendations for our time in town. We were visiting in a non-touristy (cold) season, yet Baraboo did not disappoint! The museums had opened and the downtown shops and bars were thriving. Plus, no competing crowds. Don't hesitate to make Baraboo, Wisconsin a long weekend getaway any time of year. There is much history and hosting that will greet you. Our thanks to Julie and Stuart for revitalizing this marvelous bed and breakfast and for attending to all the important and pampering details. It will go down in our traveling history as one of our Greatest Stays on Earth!

Beautiful home with great hosts. We were there for just one night to enjoy a trip to Ishnala, and enjoy a little of the Baraboo night life during the week. The breakfast was good and everyone was well rested. A great little piece of history that you can stay in. We will stay there again!

Outstanding time at The Ringling House Bed and Breakfast. Close to everything in the area. Perfect spot, wither you are looking for "ghosts and ghoulies" or not. A MUST STAY location. Wonderful hosts!! Great breakfast. Perfect area. Nice tour. Quiet and quaint, perfect for any time or occasion. Take the Rickshaw Tour too, well worth the 30.00. When we were there, there was a "Celebration of Life" so, it's not just a B&B. Its a "meeting" or "event" destination as well.

We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary for 2 nights. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating and our room was clean and unique in the way it was decorated. Breakfast was delicious and different both mornings, which was great! The location is pretty close to downtown, which we didn't have much time to check out, but it was cool to drive through. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities in and around Baraboo. The only negative is that the TV was quite small for the size of the room and maybe not in the best location, but maybe most people don't watch it anyways, so could be a non issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ringling House B and B!! We were there 4 nights, and there was so much to see and do in the vicinity, we couldn’t do it all. The hosts at the B and B were helpful, patient and friendly. Our room was light and airy. The bed was comfy. The shower was hot. And breakfast each morning was delicious! Staying in the House was a blast from the past with the original woodwork, stained glass windows, and several pieces of furniture from the Ringling family. But it was amazingly comfortable while being historic. The hosts have done a stellar job of finding just the right balance between preservation and creating a home-like atmosphere. Kudos to them!!!

Nice old fashioned house with history of Ringling brothers!!!place to stay and see the nice rooms ,quiet place! The hosts,Julie and Stuart are great . The mansion is fabulous, built in 1900 for one of the Ringling brothers, bed bery comfortable and the breakfasts so tasty. Almost too much to eat. Fresh fruit, yogurt and a homemade fresh entree. We asked for lots of recommendations on restaurants, hiking and other things to do and their advice was spot on. We will be back.we love the Devil Lake !!!beautiful just 10 min away
