First in mind: room air temperature was too chill, freezing, despite the fan is off, and temp control set to highest (30°C). I am working in computer industry, and 16°C is the ideal temperature for computer room, but not for human. During the stay, never warmer than 15°C. If I didnt heat fill bath tub with hot water, room temp would stay at around 11-13°C Good things: - location near the Mall, many resto around - spacious room Immediate improvement needed: - aircon temperature should be adjustable, able until 25°C. - toilet amenities: cotton buds Further improvement needed - toilet amenities, shaving kit, comb, higher quality of tooth brush - additional door lock of chain type - additional electric socket outlet near bed, of the international type - key-secured access lift - removal of big TV cabinet - list of hotel properties in room - bigger swimming pool

Badi'ah Hotel is nothing short of superb! Large, spacious rooms with elegant/warm lighting and tasteful decor and artwork. Rooms were equipped with functional furniture such as a wall desk with a chair, 2 arm chairs, a folding luggage storage rack as well as a large cabinet for luggage storage and clothing. The room also came with an electronic safe, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee/tea making supplies (Nescafé and milk powder packets, sugar, Lipton tea), 2 glasses, 2 coffee mugs with little stir sticks and bathroom amenities such as bar soap, shampoo, body gel, 2 dental kits and a disposable bag. 2 bottles of water were also provided and were replenished each morning. The bathroom was large and clean with a large western toilet. Shower was enclosed, however, water still floods all over the bathroom floor when showering. On this point, the bathrooms could be improved. The bed was extremely comfortable, but unusually short in length. I am only 5'5” but my feet were hitting the edge of the bed. For anyone taller than 5'5”, I fear your feet may be hanging off the bed? Perhaps this was just the size of the double bed in my room, but I found this peculiar. The room also came with a flatscreen TV, with 9 channels to choose from. Limited, but fine for a few nights. Channel selections included BBC news, Discovery and also a Cinemax movie channel (all in English). There were a couple of other English channels also, but I didn't tune in to these. Channels/TV service cut in and out periodically - loss of service - unsure why, but it was manageable. Wifi signal was exceptionally strong, with a router on each floor and different floor networks to choose from. Very happy! Air conditioning in the room and ventilation both were excellent. Housekeeping was excellent and efficient! They started at a reasonable time and finished very quickly, never missing a beat and generous with replenishing used supplies and toiletries. Rooms were also very clean! There was an electronic pad inside to indicate whether you wanted your room cleaned or to be left be, which I thought was excellent design. Reception and kitchen staff were all amazing! Professional, friendly and welcoming of guests! Always opening the door for incoming and departing guests and happy to service any request with a smile! Staff were superb! My one complaint (other than the flooding shower) would be ants in the room. Unfortunately, this is in most tropical climates, and difficult to control, I understand. They are harmless, but, for sure, an annoyance. The hotel offered free airport pick-up and drop-off which was superb value and very much appreciated! The staff even waited for me despite my flight being delayed over an hour (sorry!). Location of the hotel is perfect! You can walk to all of the major tourist sights, and there are 2 major supermarkets close by, one in the complex just behind the hotel, which was very convenient (it's called First Emporium Supermarket). The included breakfast b

An overnight stay in preparation for an early morning flight from the nearby airport. On arrival the allocated room had not be prepared or cleaned which, involved a wait whilst another room was found. The new room has only one serviceable lamp, but it was getting late and this was accepted. Restaurant was closed and no food available. A shower caused the bathroom to flood, wetting all the towels. Room very warm. No response the thermostat. Checkout involved a long confusing walk and several floor changes to achieve. The receptionist asked for our room number, he then denied that our room existed. A photo of the door (with number) didn’t seem to help. Now somewhat disenchanted with the whole experience I tried to exit the hotel only to find that the doors were locked for another 2 hours! None of the staff seemed to know how to get out. Some improvisation and use of the fire doors eventually allowed escape. Not good, not good at all. A building designed by a Stalinist era brutalist, let down even further by a management who have at best a tenuous grip on the hospitality industry.
We recently stayed the The Empire for two night during our travels, and had an incredible time! The resort is located about a 20 min drive from the airport and about a 20 minute drive to the main downtown area. The resort is gigantic! Upon entering the hotel we were amazed at how large and jaw-dropping the lobby was. We checked in and were given a Seaside View room located in a building a short buggy ride away. As I mentioned the property is MASSIVE, but whenever you need a buggy just call down to reception, or locate one of the many staff members who will get one for you in mere minutes. Our room itself, was very clean, large, with a nice balcony and chairs outside. Also, the property is VERY quiet and peaceful. We really took advantage of many of the activities offered at the resort. We went for a walk down to the beach and checked out the pool. I highly recommend using the Country Club facilities, many of them are included with the price of the room, like Table Tennis, and Basketball. The others like golf, squash, badminton, have an extra added fee. We also opted to play a couple rounds of bowling, which was very reasonably priced, and we had the entire bowling alley to ourselves! It was a lot of fun, a neat experience, and highly recommended. For dinner we ate at the Indian restaurant on property. We were there on a weekday, so the buffet was not being offered. The food was fantastic at the restaurant, super fresh, tasty, with friendly and helpful waitresses. For breakfast there is a buffet option, but we chose to grab baked goods and croissants from the 24 hour market on property, called Zest. Overall, we had an incredible time! You can have an entire vacation at the property and never even leave the resort. There is so much to do, that we unfortunately ran out of time!

訪訪客用戶Super nettes Home stay mit sehr aufmerksamen Host .
訪訪客Everything fine - just a little machine noise from outside the room but it was bearable. Great location - very central and near markets. Liked the swimming pool. Extremely friendly and helpful staff overall, very happy we chose The Radisson Brunei.
訪訪客The free transport option offered on arrival at the airport was a very appealing aspect at this hotel and it was seamless when arriving late at night. The city’s roads were deserted so the journey didn’t take long and the welcome from the reception was superb, feeling so friendly and more like arriving into someone’s home than a hotel. It may feel a little tucked away and at times more of a business office location, but it was the ideal spot for a short break in the city and all the main sights are easily walkable. There’s two buildings for the accommodation and mine was on the second floor in the alternative building. There is a decent lift as well as stairs available to use and the room itself was a good enough size. It was a little basic and functional, but with the prices charged I can’t complain. Be sure to close the blind in the shower at night else the glass door allows the morning sun throughout the whole room, but the air-conditioning worked well, there’s plugs by the side of the bed and a decent enough desk for doing any work. The TV was small and there isn’t a huge amount of storage but everywhere at least seemed very clean. Noise from outside was minimal, given the hotel is tucked away in it’s own carpark, although it was possible to hear water running throughout the building from other rooms throughout the night. Breakfast continued the friendly ‘home run’ affair and was quite nice. There’s a decent number of hot dishes on the buffet and the live omelette station is a good touch. Again all the staff are super welcoming and can’t do enough to help. There’s a mix of tables with many suitable for large groups as well. I can’t comment on their evening offering since it was closed for a private function. If you’re looking for the height of luxury and modernness you’ll be disappointed, but for a clean comfortable room, in a great location with welcoming atmosphere, certainly consider it - I will be again and it’s brilliant value.

訪訪客用戶The rooms are big and clean but everything else is terrible. It started when I booked the hotel for a business trip. There are not a lot of hotels in KB, so the choice is limited. The hotel confirmed my booking then a week later cancelled saying they did not have the capacity. It took the company I was consulting for to call and secure a room for me. To reach the offices of our client, we need to utilize hotel transport. We booked each day in advance but the hotel managed to screw up the booking each time making us late three days in a row. When I misplaced the plastic key to my room, they charged me $11 to replace it (the only hotel in the world to do that and I have been to hundreds of them). On the way out of your room, the door does not close and lock automatically. You have to run your key to retract the bolt lock and pull it shut (when you are leaving). The bathroom has a 4 inch step down into it meaning you are in danger of stubbing or even breaking a toe if you get up at night to go to the toilet. The food is severely limited, poor quality, and only good for a carb load. Finally, the wifi is only good for about 10minute at a time then cuts out for 5-10 minutes. This is the worst hotel I have visited in a long, long time ,and I have been in some pretty bad hotels.
