班伯裡普瑞米爾客棧（M40，J11）(Banbury (M40, J11))

Wonderful staff, very attentive and proactive. Our parents stayed there as well and we all had a great night sleep. We specially liked the taxi booking system they had in which you push a button in reception and they tell you the taxi number and at what time is is going to arrive. They could include the opening hours in their menu as we didn’t know at what time they closed. There is no phone in your room so you have to go downstairs to order the food for it to be delivered to your room (and presumably pay there as well) The kiosk check-in wasn’t working so we had to wait for a person to arrive. The drop your card system for checkouts is great!

The stay overall was good. He had a very lovely and quiet room overlooking the Oxford canal in Banbury. The hotel is perfectly well located right next Castle Quay (main shopping centre in Banbury City Centre) There is an arcade right in front of the hotel with cinemas, restaurants, bowling, gaming meters away from the hotel. I would say the location is just great. As for the staff. They were NOT great. I believe they lack of proper training to receive, register and welcome guests.

perfect stay for a drunken night

You know what you're getting with premier inns; a clean room on a set lay out and a comfy bed. My room was very noisy due to occupants above me. I asked if I could possibly move rooms; but the member of staff who I spoke to clearly couldn't have cared less; was rude and disrespectful. Very dissapointing and not what I have come to expect from Premier Inn staff. For balance, I have to say the rooms were clean, the food good and the restaurant staff polite and friendly.

I like staying at Premier Inn when I'm away for business. The Premier Inn at Banbury is quite good in appearance, but the room wasn't up to the usual standard.

Room 117 right above toilets so all you could hear was door slamming and the hand dryer all evening and early morning. Also spare pillows had no pillow cases on. In need of some tlc in terms of cleanliness and decoration. Breakfast could also do with someone topping things up frequently and actually cooling the anemic bacon!

Stopped for an overnight break from a long drive. So good to have a warm and friendly welcome, great food and comfy room. If all Premier Inns were this good I wouldn’t bother booking anywhere else.

Stayed here for lazy sunday bank holiday: arrived at 2:45 (3pm check in) the foyer was deserted! Pressed the call button and was promptly greeted by the hotel manager. Was advised room would be a while as the previous guests all stayed until 12:00. On checking in later that evening only 1 lift was working so it took a little while to get up to 3rd floor. Room was clean and tidy but there was a strong smell of air freshener but it did go off after a few hours. We found the room very very hot and couldnt get the air con right..user error i imagine 🤣 We had a drink in the bar in the evening and it was well priced. Breakfast was nice enough, the staff were all working flat out but the food wasnt hot enough for my liking. On checkout day we were undortunate as the fire alarm went off. Staff had no idea what to do and i was shocked at the lack of training. I have contacted the hotel about this and will wait for a response.
