明珠大飯店(Pearl Boutique Hotel Adult Only)

I was very excited to have booked into this hotel but came away very disappointed. No bedside tables, safe not big enough to put your laptop in and no rubbish bin! I took my key with me as they lost it the day before (and when I got to my room it was unlocked????) so they couldn't clean my room which is fine by me as it was only me staying. When I arrived back to my room to have a rest, they pounded at the door until I said that I was resting. They need a "Do not Disturb" sign. Every time I arrived back at reception, I was continually asked if I was staying there? I had no help with my luggage upon departure! Very disappointing stay. I will not be returning.

Having had our flights cancelled by Jetstar the night we were to arrive for 8 days the hotel was uncooperative in helping with a part refund. Refused to communicate with ********** and fell on deaf ears. We would expect a Penalty for part of the stay, however the fact no reply to agent saw out of pocket for the full 8 nights. We communicated with the hotel, it they had little sympathy. Will not stay there ever again

This is a terrific little piece of paradise in a great location. The resort is small enough to have a personalised experience, has real Bali feels and everyone who stays here is going to be a repeat customer. If you are looking for peace and quiet, no children, a quick walk to everything you need and awesome staff then this is your place. Don't expect all the unnecessary extras - thankfully there is no buffet, swim up pool bar or band.

Just returned to the Pearl after a break of 4 years and it is better than ever. It’s a real sanctuary- close to everything but nice, quiet and personal. The staff are fabulous. Nothing is a problem. The renovated rooms are comfortable and the new hot water system meant I never had a cold shower ! We had a lovely week of R and R there.

The hotel overall was very nice and quiet. However 4 nights out of 5 the hot water in the shower ran out so the 2nd person in had a cold shower. The other problem was the bed, it was like sleeping on concrete slab and resulted in terrible sleeps. Which really ruined what could have been a fantastic stay

A real hidden oasis. A 16 room hotel with experienced staff. Off the road and peaceful. Good pool, on site spa, French-style breakfast. 12.00 checkout. Wifi can be slow sometimes but fast in the morning. No kids allowed! Will come back again

Great little hotel with lovely staff Breakfast included in our room was very basic but still nice It was more of an older clientele Who stayed in this hotel and rested throughout the day by the pool and it was very very quiet when night came Was a pleasant stay

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pearl after an absense of almost 3 years due to Covid . We were pleased to find that the quality and service remaining the same. We have stayed at the Pearl many times and despite having tried other hotels in Legian, the Pearl remaining our favourite by far. The owners have recently done renovations and everything is looking gorgeous. The Pearl is a small, intimate hotel that only accepts children over 15 years so it is a wonderful place to stay if you value your privacy and the intimate atmosphere. You won’t find any thumping music at the Pearl (thank goodness)! Breakfast is usually included and is superb. The staff are amazing and always go out of their way to make guests comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. The only minor negative for me would be that the hot water thanks could be larger. Getting enough hot water for two people to shower can be a problem at times. Over all, the Pearl is a wonderful place to stay if you value a quiet and friendly atmospere. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the Pearl, having previously stayed on 2 other occasions. The hotel has spruced up the gardens around the pool and no longer offers a restaurant service. A lovely breakfast is still included in the price. I enjoyed 2 massages with Wayan at the on-site spa, very relaxing and around $18 aud. I stayed with friends in the suite, comprising 2 large bedrooms, and bathrooms. A large living area with table and day bed. I would suggest providing some basic plates, cups and cutlery for use if dining in. We had an issue with a leaking tap which was fixed in a few days. The staff are very helpful, welcoming and professional. No kids under 15 so if you looking for a chilled out quiet hotel in a central location check out the Pearl.
