烏魯瓦圖起源飯店(Origin Uluwatu)

My cousin found this spot due to the high Trip Advisor reviews. Regrettably, it turned out to be a poor stay and we had to relocate. Stayed at the Origin for one night. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. This is a camping/glamping experience with a large lawn and nice pool and a number of tents that you sleep in. Your tent is blocked by a large fence and it is private in your area. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom area is outside of the tent in the open air. The issue with the tent is that is does not block any noise. There was animal noises, car noise, and party noise all night and construction noise all day. I’ve been traveling Bali for a month and this was my worst night sleep the whole time. I slept maybe 1 or 2 hours. There were all sorts of noises in the tent too. I was wearing ear plugs as well. I was so tired a needed a second coffee in the morning and they were initially trying to charge me extra for it but then removed. The hot water machine in the room didn’t work so I couldn’t make myself coffee. Due to this, I found alternative accommodation for the rest of my stay in Uluwatu and my cousin still paid but did not stay. Would not stay again due to these issues.

This is the first time I reviewed a place badly, actually the place is good. at first we got a rate at 1000k rupiah per night, but because we were staying for Nyepi Day we asked the rate for staying for 3D 2N there was an additional cost of 800k for food so we paid 2800k, before we paid we asked if they could share the menu we got , but it wasn't shared until the day we arrived . And The momment we saw the menu the highest price is only 95k 😂, they said we can choose 1 appitizer and 1 main course ( so for 1 person with the most pricey food we only spent 180++ ), and so sorry to say this the food was soooo bad , the burger patty was smelly and the friedrice i cant even eat it. and you must see what they called “croquette” 🥹🥹🥹 inthe second morning we eat breakfast at cafe near origin because cant stand the food taste and we also pay for our dogs stay and they claims that our dog will provided food during stay( in their IG our dogs will provided wet food treats etc) but they just got the treats Even my friend helmets was broken but they also didnt give any response We Asked for refund for the food Only but it was so slow and today i got their response who will refund 242k 😂😂😂 and until now there is no trf hahahaa

We stayed at Origin Uluwatu back in August and spent 3 nights here and our experience was fantastic! As soon as we checked in, we felt good in this peaceful oasis. The tent was beautifully design, with a nice outside living set-up. The hanging chairs, the evening fire and the refreshing cocktails and juice were everything needed to have a good time. My friend was feeling sick and we wanted to extend our stay until he was feeling better. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked out. Ro****a went above and beyond to put us in contact with another accommodation next door. Overall, an awesome place, with good service & price and THE BEST staffs! Massive thank you to everyone at the Origin Uluwatu for making us feel like a small family…We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Wawan and Ro****a for making our stay amazing!!

We recently stayed at Origin Uluwatu and found it to be a mixed bag of delights and challenges. The garden is a lush paradise, creating a serene atmosphere that invites relaxation. The spacious accommodation impressed us with ample room to unwind, complemented by a lovely private pool that was the highlight of our stay. The location of Origin Uluwatu is quite convenient, with easy access to the beach via a quick Grab ride. Culinary-wise, the food met our expectations with tasty offerings, and the variety of breakfast options provided a great start to each day. However, we encountered an issue with mosquitoes that seemed more prevalent here than at other places we've stayed during our month in Bali. Additionally, while our room was clean and well-maintained, we found the cleanliness in the dining area to be lacking and in need of improvement. Despite these setbacks, the team at Origin Uluwatu are commendable — a group of good lads who were always willing to assist. With some attention to pest control and a stricter cleaning regimen in the communal areas, I believe Origin Uluwatu could truly be an exceptional place to stay. I would still recommend it to those looking for spacious, private accommodations in Uluwatu.
