This is a smart boutique hotel which is very friendly and personable. The staff are lovely, helpful and attentive. The food was also particularly good. I loved the pool by the restaurant but beware it made all my silver bangles tarnish hopefully they can be polished once I am home. I wanted to point this out if you have any jewellery you wouldn’t want to damage. We booked a buggy for the day to explore the island and this was a highlight. You are also very conveniently located for the boat transfer to and from mainland Bali. Large rooms nice balcony and bathrooms. Robes and slippers provided. Any problems are promptly sorted. Must also point out there are lots of stairs and I am just in the age bracket where this detail is good to know beforehand. Loved our stay here.

Het personeel is aardig maar te jong, ze hebben de kennis niet die nodig is voor een 5 sterren hotel. De badkamer is gedateerd maar vooral smerig. Het resort is slecht onderhouden terwijl het veel potentie heeft. Wij betaalden €500 voor twee nachten. Dan wil je op z’n minst lekker schoon uit bad komen. Maar oordeel zelf maar.

We stayed at this delightful Hotel for 5 days while visiting our beautiful daughter Lauren in Nusa Lembongan in May and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are all incredible and the super manager Wishnu does everything to make your stay comfortable. Great rooms, super breakfasts, really nice pool, great views- whats not to like?. I have seen somebody complaing about the stairs as it is built on a hill, but they do have a golf buggy on hand at all times to run you back and forth and little time to wait for it. I have some walking difficulties and found no problems. I have no hesitation in recommending The Tamarind and thanks once again to all there for your 5 star hospitality

Thoughtfulness is luxury. Travelled with three young children and the transport company had not shown up at 10.40 for the 11am ferry. Quick thinking manager and concierge (Pak Wira) offered to send us on hotel car to the jetty. That's true service! Not your typical Nusa Dua five-star but given the constraints of building in Lembongan, I think the architect and owner has been very thoughtful about space allocation and affording privacy and panoramic views for each room.
