You can then come back to the retreat and recharge from a central point so that you are rested and ready to go to see many of the other attractions close by. MOUNT ROLANDIf Cradle Mountain was not enough, then you can fix your itch with Mount Roland. Access to this beautiful center piece of the region is only a five minute drive away. Mount Roland stands at 1233 meters above sea level and provides a stunning backdrop to the North West region.Take the track that starts at O'Neill's road. Walking time takes from four to six hours return. This is the easiest track to walk to the summit as it has a moderate incline. The summit provides spectacular 360 degree views to Bass Strait, Cradle Mountain and Barn Bluff.MOLE CREEK CAVESFrom mountains to caves, you cannot miss exploring Mole Creek whilst you are staying. Located only 30 minutes away.
