Decided to pay a little extra and go with this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the gym is good 👍. Only downside was that the pool is either too cold or too windy. Given the fact that the main recent we booked it was for the pool, it is a shame that we didn’t get to swim much! Staff are very friendly.

До старого города минут 15 пешком. Завтраки хорошие и разнообразные. В номере есть все необходимое: банные принадлежности, халаты, чайник, сейф. Также круглосуточный румсервис.
The executive lounge is a great idea! The staff is helpful and friendly. Great at service and food. They are available for service, especially ms layla in the lounge who is always there. She is quick and good at english as well that helps the people staying who dont know local language
I stayed here only for a night but it was one of the best stay in hotel I ever had. The room is so spacious, minimally decorated with modern design and clean. The bath tub is really big and can fit 2 person. All the staff I encountered were very nice and promptly answered my questions. The price is definitely high but its worth it

I had a great stay at ibis Baku on my trip to Baku, this was my 2nd trip and 2nd stay at the same hotel, rooms are still refreshing and looks quite new and updated, every other facilities are available which is mandatory , the staff is courteous and helpful in all the aspects. My special thanks to Mr. Bashir ( Duty Manager) for helping me and assisting through out the stay. He really goes out of his way to make sure the guests are happy and satisfied. Thanks to the other team members namely - Rufat and Naila as they kept meeting me all the time when I was at hotel during my stay, Overall a decent stay to remember and would definitely be coming again and again once I am in Baku again. We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕
We stayed in 3-Bed Room from 2nd to 8th Sept. 2024. The room was very well decorated and comfortable. The staff at Reception, Restaurant and Hosekeeping were very polite and cooperative. Breakfast had a wide variety of healthy food items to choose. The location was good with XALQ Bank nearby for currency exchange. Overall, our trip was very enjoyable and good hotel stay added to our nice experience. The tariff was also moderate.
訪訪客I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Great price great service.
