Had a comfortable stay at Hyatt Place during my business trip. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was commendable. However, the breakfast options could use improvement for a more satisfying start to the day.

Everything good, room clean, bedding set and towels still look new. The room's price ok and include breakfast for 6 persons. Near Gas station and mini market. Worthy for families. Will be here again 😊

Rigid, and no common sense policy made it a nightmare evening for me. Lost my wallet and Hyatt Place Bakersfield made it impossible to check in even after they were paid in full and photo of ID and other ID that more than proved who I was. Very disappointing and not the fault of the desk clerk. Won’t ever stay with them again.

even after repeated requests we received no support from housekeeping or the front desk during our four-night stay!! they cleaned all around our room, 313, but never gave us towels or fresh linen, even after I talked to the housekeeper and front desk!! will make every effort to warn others of this hotel’s practices and policies!!

Was told bar was open until midnight and food open until 10:30pm when I went downstairs the front desk lady said she was sick and that I wouldn't want to order from her since she was sick. Honestly I was scared and I was wondering if she's that sick not to take my order then why is she there to check people in?

Our stay was very nice. Staff were always welcoming and helpful. Julie at the front desk was exceptional. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet style. It included juice, milk, toast, bagels, oatmeal, a fruit option, eggs, sausage and potatoes every day. Some days had either pancakes or french toast. We were their 5 nights. It was a good location for what we needed. Our room did not have a microwave which was probably the only downside.

Property was exceptionally well kept. Breakfast was good and plenty and the price was consistent with the area. Staff was friendly and helpful except for one lady “Michelle “. She was rude for no reason… didn’t ask for her to do anything or say anything to her she was just rude and made my family really uncomfortable. Hopefully management figures out she’s bad for business before she damages the brand.

I made an error on my checkout date when booking. At check-in I advised the hotel front desk. I was assured by two different staff members at check in and check it that as long I checked out by noon on the correct date, I would not be charge for the additional day. The hotel is now denying the refund after TWO employees assured me I would not be charged.

Clean, spacious, comfortable - Hyatt has a good paradigm for its less expensive hotels. Two negatives - hall rugs too thick for roller luggage and the price point is not competitive with the area hotels. The latter will have me looking at other hotels next time.
