"Villa Azul" - Beautiful and well-kept holiday home with private pool for sole use and a terrace of over 100sqm (partly covered). The chalet is located in a quiet residential area not far from the beach, town center and old town / castle. It is only 100m to the sea, 300m to the next bay. Town center, sandy beach and old town are about 1.2 km away. The house has two floors. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms with balcony, sea view and access to the roof terrace. Also a shower room.
On the lower floor there is another separate bedroom with double bed and access to the terrace, living room with sofa bed, fully furnished kitchen, separate dining room, another shower room and a technical room with washing machine. Direct access from the living room to the very large terrace, partly covered. The pool is about 8 x 3.50 m in size and is for sole use. BBQ available. TV and WiFi free. There are 2 parking spaces for cars at the house. On request, we will be happy to provide you with a cot and high chair free of charge. Pets Allowed.
Peñíscola is a romantic fishing village with its own nature reserve, kilometers of sandy beach and a large portion of historical charm (old town / medieval castle). The place is located on the Spanish Mediterranean coast and is a popular tourist destination that millions of holidaymakers visit every year.
Most recently known as the location and location of the world-famous television series "Game of Thrones". Peñíscola is located between Valencia (approx. 120km) and Barcelona (almost 250km) on the Costa del Azahar.

Bei Ankunft waren wir erstmal geschockt, dass eine Unterkunft, in dieser Preisklasse, keine Klima hat. Die Nächte waren somit unerträglich warm, da reichten die vorhanden Lüfter nicht. Mückengitter fehlen, Mücken gab es aber reichlich.
Das Haus ist völlig abgewohnt. Die Liegen, die Kissen, das Geschirr u.v.m. dreckig und verschlissen. Die Foto's auf der Seite sind veraltet. Die abgebildete Sitzecke gibt es nicht. Die Markisen am Haus sind löchrig und verschlissen.
Im Kühlschrank gab es Essensreste. Die Arbeitsplatte sowie auch die Tischdecke waren dreckig, stinkig und verklebt. Vor Benutzung mussten wir alles säubern/spülen. Die Beschichtung der Pfannen ist ab, Pfannen verformt. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist insg. sehr mangelhaft. Nur stumpfe Messer.
Natürlich kann und soll im Urlaub gefeiert werden, die Anlage nebenan meinte aber an einem Samstag bis 3:30 mit Live Musik feiern zu müssen, somit war auch die Nacht dahin.
Der einzig vorhandene, kleine Sonnenschirm war nicht nutzbar, da der Ständer nicht mehr (zur Beschwerung) gefüllt werden konnte. Leck. Von einem weiteren Sonnenschirm lag nur noch das Gerippe da.
Ein kleiner Beistelltisch (Holz) am Pool war kaputt und voller fremden Haare.
Ein Satz Handtücher für 2 Wochen ist viel zu wenig. Sollten wchtl. gewechselt werden. Bettwäsche roch muffig.
Poolboy war 1x zw.durch da, dann aber mit soviel Chlor, dass man nicht mehr rein wollte.
Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend. Preis/Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.

Villa perfecta para poder disfrutar si, como nos ocurrió, hay tormenta. Tiene todo lo necesario para poder disfrutar siendo familia numerosa.

Super atento el propietario!!! Apenas agregaría algun aire acondicionado en los cuartos de arriba. Estuvimos fantastico los 5 dias de nuestra estancia!

Summer holidays
Having just come from a great property the week before in Javea for the same price we felt a bit let down by this property. The property it’s self was nice I and sure at one time but has become tired and needing updated, painted and lot of things where broken or didn’t work properly (second shower, microwave, extractor, no kettle, bathroom drawers etc). Big down side was no air conditioning and the fans provided where in sufficient. There was little or no attention to detail, no welcome pack for the area, we had to make up our own bedding up on arrival which was poor minimal old beddings (even washed one sheet as thought it smelt) towels provided one per person to do a week not enough. The large master in picture with 4 poster bed the room had blinds or curtains and was bright in morning. Check process was vague and last minute. The pool was not clean, and no pool cleaner came the whole time we where when we left it had gotten very dirty and no tools to clean other than a net, it’s also had no air pump working to keep water from stagnating. Overall it not great!
