No pudimos alojarnos en el hotel porque no había sitio y contratamos con Jacamar las excursiones y el barco de entrada y salida a Drake. Nos mandaron ellos el coche para llevarnos al hotel que habíamos contratado. El hotel era un desastre y decidimos volver a Jacamar a que nos ayudará Emmanuel a buscar otro. Las excursiones todas con guías experimentados y amables. Destaco a José como fuera de serie. Y Emmanuel el artífice de nuestro bienestar esos cuatro días. Nos buscó un sitio estupendo donde disfrutamos de un jardín florido. Todo resultó muy bien gracias a su atención, su amabilidad y su profesionalidad.

We had a really nice stay at Jacamar. Very clean room, huge comfy bed, nice leafy balcony to sit and watch the noisy birds. We enjoyed the aggressive aircon after swearing our way around Corcovado and Drake Bay itself. Good location - not beachfront but everything in town is walkable. We also had the breakfast each morning, which was very tasty. Not a beautiful secluded boutique hotel, but a comfortable mid-range option.

We got here by boat from Sierpe and were met at the beach. it is only a couple of 100 meters from the beach, but we were glad we didn’t have to carry our big bags uphill on the slightly rocky road. The hotel self is very nice, clean rooms, large bathroom and very friendly and helpfull staff (guy at frontdesk speaks english very well). We were also happy with the airconditioning, since it was so warm outside. Laundry service was quick and reasonably priced. Restaurants all within walking distance. A lot of noise from the birds across the town, níce views from our balcony. I really liked it here and absolutely recommend it to others.

We were met at the beach when we arrived by ferry from Sierpe. The hotel is spotlessly clean, cool and welcoming. Built on the side of a hill, all rooms appear to overlook a very well kept garden. If this place had a pool it would be paradise! The room and bathroom is very spacious and the aircon is fantastic.

This is a nice hotel, in the centre of town. Walking distance to bars & restaurants and the beach. Drake Bay isn’t so commercial as it’s tricky to get to, either by 4x4 over very bumpy, rocky roads or by boat from Sierpe. The rooms were clean and breakfasts were made promptly by 2 local ladies. Fruit on arrival & fruit juice, followed by a breakfast you’ve chosen the day before. The rooms had aircon, thankfully and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens.
