Although the beds were clean, the rooms looked grubby & dated. Room wasn't cleaned during our stay, no bottles of drinking water provided, so it lacked the basics you'd expect from a hotel in PH these days

I didn’t stay here. I only had some snacks and bought tickets for tonight’s show at the Cozy Cove (which I discovered on YouTube). I had a strawberry and blueberry granola bowl (it’s a cold version) and a cup of cafe latte. I also had a good time looking at photos on display.

1. Do not take a room facing Leonard Wood Road. The traffic noise is awful and continues all night. 2. Breakfast is not available at breakfast time. 3. With great sadness I have to say I won’t be coming back after keeping Mountain Lodge at the top of my list for more than 30 years. 🥲

If you are looking for a woody and quiet place to stay in Baguio, I recommend this place. Though the room that we have stayed for 4 days and 3 nights are quiet old, it's safe and quiet. The place is accessible to Teacher's camp and other restaurant near the place. The food in the cafeteria are delicious.

I think I need to keep remembering this is a 2 star lodge. The price is actually similar to other 3 star (and in one case 4) hotels I have stayed in the Philippines. The first room we were booked into was in the basement overlooking the car park and had no Wi-Fi. We were moved up, but whilst the room was bigger the Tv didn't work and the noise from the road (plus the thin curtains that let light in) plus uncomfortable beds all resulted in a shocking nights sleep. Breakfast was ok and the staff were lovely - that is what stands out here.
