Best value for the space. Stayed here with friends years ago. Came back with family. Air conditioned room good for 5 adults and 1 infant. Upon entering the room, looks it had it shares of fun times already. But once the lights are open and blinds are up and Aircon is open the room feels more homey. They have ample parking space but best to get to park out the lobby. Basement parking is quite cramped and also stinks of cigarette even if there were a bunch of no smoking sign. The hallway also sometime smells like cigarettes. Initially was informed that breakfast was plated but it was buffet breakfast. Breakfast had cereals, chicken soup on both days, two kinds of rice, 3 kinds of viands, diy salad and two kinds of fruits. Coffee, hot chocolate, juice and water. Everything was edible but not that good. 😆 location is also good since baguio has number coding on weekdays. Having ascending part of session road closed was a bit hassle but easy to go around. Beds were comfy, restroom was clean enough. Elevator in hotel is not working 24 hours unless you have bags need to be lifted. Overall nice stay. Budget and comfort was hit 🎯
Hotel Veniz in Burnham was a good enough place when I first stayed there but the succeeding trips were quite a disappointment. When booking, always take with caution the rooms recommended in the default setting of their website. I learned a bad lesson when I trusted the system completely. Only after I have fully paid for the reservation did I learn that the room had no window and inaccessible by elevator. If you are travelling with old people, this is particularly discomforting. But the uninitiated would click the reserved button right away since the systems give only four hours to pay or booking would be cancelled. Once payment is made, only then does information on the accommodation become available. You might be shocked to know that if you book separate rooms, they might be at different floors. Rooms offered at uniform rates are not necessarily identical in size, location, and view. Last time, we were assured a family room but the place turned out to be too cramped, and while there was window overlooking Burnham Park, it was too high for a person of average height to look out into the sceneries outside, which basically defeats the purpose of having a room with a view. For some reason, I always end up getting these cramp, disappointing accommodations even when the price I paid was supposedly for the high-end type. Another problem is parking. The basement is too dark and poorly-designed a novice driver would have a difficult time positioning his car especially those mid-sized SUVs. The basement ground is uneven, and with so many concrete pillars blocking the way, parking is a challenge. They have security at the basement but none of them is apparently able to drive. You have to do it on your own. Sometimes if you get to park at the inner slots, you will surely get blocked by other vehicles and it takes a while to page the owner to move his car aside in case you are leaving. This place is not worth the trouble of staying there, I would suggest that one finds a better alternative, and avoid this hotel as much as possible.

I’ll start off with saying that my wife and I stayed here in 2019 and had an excellent stay. The hotel was fairly new at the time and everything functioned. Well things have certainly changed over the past couple of years. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming upon checkin and the location is great. To the many things wrong with this hotel and why you should definitely find somewhere else to stay when you’re in Baguio… The first problem we encountered was the room having a strong chemical/fragrant smell with a sticky residue on all of the surfaces, I’m not sure if they had sprayed some sort of air freshener or something before we arrived but it was quite strong and bad. Secondly the general cleanliness of the room is off putting. There was a thick coating of dust around the tv and on the table next to the bed, gross. The door had hand prints and smudges from the top to bottom as well. The worst of all these issues is the bathroom. Don’t expect to get too clean here because our shower was a trickle of water and not much beyond that, don’t forget to pack your tabo. The staff offered no resolution for a room swap or anything for any of these issues. To finalize, this hotel has lots of cheerful reviews, maybe it was just our specific room in disrepair. However it is advertised as a nice hotel you’d expect some amenities at. There was not even a washcloth or hairdryer in the bathroom. I do regret my stay here this time and would caution if you plan on staying here.

We had a good time at the hotel. Staffs are helpful and the location of the hotel is perfect since it is near public market, burnham park and sm Baguio. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who are planning to visit baguio in the future.

訪訪客The staff are very accommodating and polite, the lobby is so mabango it smells like shangri-la. Im so lucky na saktong foggy nung stay ko, it was very scenic specially sa garden area, Folklore vibes sya and we were very happy during our stay. The rooms are also clean and nice
訪訪客This is our first time with Microtel by Wyndham Baguio. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights with my family, we had an incredible experience. The area and room are clean, the lobby smells wonderful. The complementary breakfast was also good, the taste, servings, and selection were acceptable. The Wi-Fi is okay, but sometimes it's cutting in and out (we stayed on the lower ground). But one thing made this hotel superb is the people. The staff from the front desk are professional, reliable, and courteous. The housekeepers greet you with a smile, even the security guards are hospitable. The location was also a big plus. We will definitely be back. Keep it up 😀
MMichaelOverall the hotel accommodation was very good, except that since we were at the lower floor, we could hear the incessant barking of the neighbor's dog. It would be good also to have a safe for valuables and a microwave to heat food considering that the city gets quite cold especially at night.
訪訪客This is THE WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed at in my 65 years of travel for business and pleasure. I have stayed in both luxury and budget hotels, but have NEVER stayed in a budget hotel as bad as this one. I AM APPALLED BY THE LACK OF BASIC AMENITIES in this hotel. THERE WAS NO CLOTHES CLOSET, NO DRESSING TABLE, NO BEDSIDE TABLES, NO READING LAMPS, NO LUGGAGE RACKS, NO GLASSES IN THE BATHROOM FOR BRUSHING ONE’s TEETH and NO SHOWER DOOR! The shower had HALF A DOOR - hence when one showers, the water spills out of the shower, and becomes a SAFETY HAZARD. Sadly, we had to buy our own bath towels, because the hotel’s towels were old, grayish and ratty-looking. The hotel has a truly RIDICULOUS KEY CARD: the name of the hotel, the address and even the room number are PRINTED on the card! I have never, ever seen a hotel card such as that! An invitation to burglars! LOL! The hotel has 2 saving graces: 1. A very helpful housekeeping team. The 2 paid FTEs JULIAN MADRINIAN & JOHN MARTIN and the OJTs PRINCESS ALCANTARA, CHRISTINE, JOANNA, JAYSON, ALALAE, GELAICA & RADILYN went out of their way to make us comfortable, despite the lack of basic amenities. They found square tables to serve as a dressing table and they covered our bed with freshly-ironed bedsheets. They respond PROMPTLY to our requests for water, TPs and room cleaning. They were young, unjaded and still passionate about their jobs. 2. The general manager, NATHAN BARROGA was very conscientious and customer-centric! Although he was stationed in their newer hotel, NEWTOWN PLAZA across the Botanical Gardens. He came promptly and addressed our complaints. He offered to move us to the newer hotel with a buffet breakfast thrown-in for the rest of our stay. If not for the (far) distance from the city center, we might’ve accepted his offer. Customer satisfaction is Mr. Barroga’s goal, as he is tenacious about pleasing the guests. He very graciously gave us a delicious cheesecake, which we liked very much and shared with the housekeeping staff. I very rarely write negative feedbacks about the hotels and restaurants we’ve been to, but I believe that guests should be aware of what to expect before making reservations.
