l'endroit est hors du temps et vraiment magique et inattendu, les chambres très confortables et la nourriture excellente nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et la vue ainsi que les paysages environnants et l'accueil particulièrement chaleureux , Eranda SAMEERA, le manager de l'endroit a été vraiment disponible pour l'excursion vers la grande chute d'eau proche de l'hôtel et je le remercie grandement pour sa gentillesse et sa joie de vivre tout comme son équipe

Écrin de nature pour un hébergement atypique. Une vue imprenable, un service exceptionnel et un accueil de qualité. Nous recommandons pour passer un moment loin des agitations urbaines. Nous avons tellement apprécié ce moment passé dans cet établissement.

Met onze twee kindjes hebben wij twee nachten in capoe house mogen verblijven . Er ontbreekt aan niets en het is werkelijk een geweldige plek met prachtig uitzicht . Al het personeel is mega lief en betrokken en zorgen ervoor dat je niets tekort komt . Ze zijn ook met ons meegewandeld naar een mooie waterval en leggen onderweg veel uit over de natuur . Ook voor onze kinderen waren ze ronduit fantastisch . Eten is ook echt top, ontbijt en diner was voor ons het beste tot nu toe. Gezien het echt boven op een berg ligt was het met ons zoontje van bijna 2 wel aanpoten omdat er veel steile randen zijn en het niet op erg kleine kinderen is ingericht , maar dat ligt niet ah hotel maar is wel een afweging wanneer je met kleine kindjes deze kant op wil. Voor onze dochter van 4 was het een top plek. Zwembad is wat klein, vooral als alle gasten er tegelijk willen liggen dan past het niet . Prijs vinden wij wel zeer fors , vooral voor sri lanka .

Qui è tutto eccezionale! Svegliarsi la mattina o fare il bagno in piscina con la vista spettacolare sulle montagne è un esperienza meravigliosa, la pace assoluta e sentire solo il cinguettio degli uccellini ti rigenera! Per arrivarci vengono a prenderti dalla strada principale con una jeep, forniscono comunque tutte le indicazioni prima. Il personale è gentile, attento, amichevole,ti senti trattato come un re! Un grazie particolare ad Eranda e Chaminda per la loro cortesia e al cuoco che ci ha fatto assaporare una cena sublime e una colazione altrettanto sublime. Sarà sicuramente un posto che consiglierò a chiunque visiti lo Sri Lanka!

We stayed at The Capoe House with our 18 month old for three days in Jan and had a really lovely time, despite the weather being a little tricky and wet! The hotel is situated very remotely in the hills which means its very quiet and great for bird watching. It does mean its not accessible by normal vehicle and requires you to be brought up a rough track for 15 mins or so in their truck. The road is pretty wild and has a lot of very large potholes (and literally missing bits)- I was glad the last time we had to make the journey! It also means that going anywhere is a little bit more laborious. However, the staff were amazing and so accommodating, so arranging transport to and from our driver was never an issue! We were the only guests for part of the time (there are only 3 rooms in total- 2 in main house and the new "villa" next door which is where we were). Eranda the manager is amazing! He was fabulous at communicating via whatsapp prior to our arrival and whilst we were there. He looked after our toddler whilst we enjoyed our dinner and arranged a great cookery demonstration with Madushanka the chef. On that point, the food Madushanka made was fabulous! The breakfast was delicious and the dinner, especially the black pork curry was brilliant! Lalith and Dilshan (butlers) were great- they kept Arthur entertained for hours playing ball games with him! The villa had only been open for a month or so and in general was lovely. Great shower and the bedroom with the balcony was lovely. The sink in the bathroom lacked hot water and the toilet leaked slightly. The pool is pretty small, although it wasn't the weather for it anyway. The hotel is probably most suitable for people keen to go on nature walks locally (Eranda is a trained guide and can spot the tiniest bird from miles off), although be wary of the leeches! We had a lovely 3 days, which is probably as long as you'd want to stay given the remote location, and would highly recommend!

Een prachtige plek in de bergen. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Ontbijt en diner op het mooie terras. Goede ontvangst door Eranda de manager, geweldig eten vd chef Matushanka, en vriendelijke butler Latith en Dilshan. Thanks for the beautifull time and kindjes, Henk en Marion
